Live music has disappeared at our local spot and no one seems to know why?

the place used to always do live music on Friday / Saturday nights but hasn't really done it much lately. like was someone back in September but hasn't been anyone since. and place isn't even busy anymore on Friday like no one even goes there anymore , been there a couple times and place has been like empty.

and no one that works there seems to even know why there isn't any music , the one server said it sucked but she didn't state a reason why. in my view only owner or manager could of made such a decision. someone there has to know what is going on right? manager seems clueless but was she really dumb enough to cut the music and now place is empty?

i know it does seem odd and they act " surprised " when it is not busy on Friday night , like they were expecting it to be packed but with no live music why would it be busy?

i'm suspicious of the managers intentions as well , i found her linkedin page online and she has no experience in other bars and worked a couple short jobs in advertising/marketing so how she became manager of our pub makes little sense. and what exactly is her true intentions? i really don't know , it seems like she's just in it for herself but wouldn't she make more $ if place busy

so the lack of live music doesn't make a lot of sense , unless she has other plans for the spot maybe like aspirations to change the concept? or even wants to buy the place , a failed business would be a lot cheaper to buy than a successful one if older owner decided he wanted out if place no longer busy
