Is it just me, or does anyone else notice that there’s no new Christmas music being made?

It’s always the same songs every year.


Including Mariah Carey’s “all I want for Christmas” song. 🙄 I love Christmas, it’s my favorite holiday. But god damn why do we have to hear the same songs every year.

Well, that is music in general in current times everything is edited down to a grind which sucks the soul out of songs and makes it sound the same as every other song. So, if they made something, it would sound the same as everything else that has come out.

In the past, you have to go to live performances to hear a song and without a doubt, someone is going to make a mistake in the orchestra. Some are going to miss time something you can hear people's feet moving around there were imperfections.

I want to hear a speific guitarist not a guitar playing, but when you edited it down to a grind because he is going to sound like everything else and it no longer has any beauty.

It is the same with buildings too they are all the same ugly class buildings in America. Yes, they are functional, but they like beauty people don't coniously registar that, but they feel a sense of unease from their surroundings and ojects around them. In the past you had beautiful buildings, items, and entertainment now everything feels like the same thing.

You can't make new Christmas songs because they are old school. They were written in 50's. But there are many niche Christmas songs like Little Jack Frost, Get Lost. It's one of my favorites.

I think a lot of people try to make Christmas music, and it just turns out corny and does not catch on 99% of the time. My husband's parents wanted us all to go to a concert last year around Christmas time for a band they somewhat liked, and all they did until the end was play Christmas music. Very disappointing, and not very memorable at all. And I think that's usually how it goes when artists try Christmas stuff.

Every now and then someone will throw out a new one that everybody loves, and it will just be added to the small collection of Christmas music that we all know and love. I think good examples of that are Last Christmas, All I want for Christmas is You, and I think the most recent craze is Snowman, by Sia.

Yup, they stopped making Christmas song, besides *all I want for Christmas" there is "Last Christmas" the lyrics have nothing to do with happiness and holiday

Even if they made something new it'd just be a version of a already existing song most likely. You can only make so many Christmas songs before they all start sounding the same.
