Eli was guided and protected by faith in God, which the rest can't hold a candle to, but furthermore:
1. Joel isn't exactly a good protector if he doesn't view you as family.
2. Rick Grimes is also a loose cannon.
3. John Connor has been retconned and rewritten so many times, he can't be bet on.
4. Mad Max gets almost everyone around him killed. Not optimal.
5. Robert has a death wish. It's dramatic and looks good on screen, but not actually a good quality in a protector.

rick grimes is the best of the best. the way he was able to adapt, coming from a coma in a hospital, not knowing what was going on or that the world ended, not knowing where his family was, to becoming a badass ripping out a dude throat. like come on!

Jesus? Our lord and savior? How many parallels are there between television and the bible, but one teaches you about the word of God while the other either distracts you from reading it or brainwashed you into a fake Christian kind of doctrine?

I used to watch those action movies, those animes. No Hollywood, no fantasy of any kind, no longer.

  The kind of media God can use to reach people is the kind of media those same people have to look for. It won't be anything on TV, it won't be anything at the theater.
  When I was praying in the past saying what am I missing? I feel as if I need to know more.

I don't know ANY of these people except for John Connor so I picked him. He's probably smart enough to know shit like a ninja and get into buildings and crack codes and is armed so yeah haha.

  SERE, Ranger, SOTIC, unit sniper instructor, camp dawson graduate and twice cadre. When I’d show up on a team I’d challenge whoever had the M203 and if I beat them i took the weapon system. If you saw what was in the back of my truck every day you’d be impressed. I think I’ll be fine.

  Neville is a good choice, he's a doctor, seems to know how to handle himself and is stocked up.. Only thing is he might be a little coo coo from being alone for so long and the directors cut of the movie hints that he was actually the "villain" this entire time..
