So much. The 2000s were probably my heyday, although I’m a little more partial to my teenage years in the 90s. I guess the overall answer is “my young adulthood”, but you’re probably looking for more pop culture stuff than me pining for my youth, lmfao.

I miss the whole style: cargo shorts and either a t-shirt or a polo. I miss working at Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch, and getting sweet, sweet 20%-off-of-$12-graphic-tees-with double-entendre-slogans deals in addition to my baller ass $7.25/hour to fold jeans but feel like the coolest kid folding jeans in the mall. I miss Dipset being the hardest music in hip-hop, LiI Wayne mixtapes dropping like crazy, people wearing HUGE white tees and wicked baggy shorts. LAWD, do I miss ladies in low-rise jeans. I miss the internet finally breaking out of its infancy and becoming more like what it is today. I miss throwing away four months of my life pretending to be a Compton gangbanger via CJ in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, literally living 13 year old WhiteSteve’s dream, lmao. Maybe most of all, I miss Boston sports teams beginning their run of dominance. Patriots and Red Sox firing on all cylinders🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Love the 2000s so much, even though I spent a lot of it being mad that it wasn’t the 90s and we were moving away from that, haha

I was never on AOL. I used local ISPs from home. As a software developer, I always had access to the internet from work.
