Did you used to get more excited by the internet than now?

In the 90’s and 00’s I would get a thrill from the internet that I just don’t get anymore

When the internet was still very new, like say from 1995-2005, people were amazed by what could be done on it. And "meeting people on the internet" was fascinating. Such as going into "chat rooms" and typing to people from all over. There was so much curiosity and amazement. People would exchange phone numbers and talk on the phone, etc. There are still a few women who I am in touch with to this day who I met that way, back in the late 1990's.

I would say that the excitement has calmed down over the internet and it is basically part of most people's lives now, because so much we do is done on the internet now.

I didn’t really care for it. Only place I could go to actually have access was the library in elementary school. Other school work I didn’t care for it, I was too busy playing outside

Definitely was better growing up in the 2000's!
