Loved Disney growing up and now my baby is super into Disney.
The Disney Channel cost extra when I was a kid, in the infancy of cable TV. No way were my parents paying for that, haha. So I never really got into the baseline Disney characters. I knew them, of course, but I had no emotional reference to them, I knew what they looked like but didn’t see the cartoons to get a feel for them.
I think to this day I haven’t seen a Disney movie in it’s entirety. At least not a cartoon one, I think I may have seen a live action one, or two. Mary Poppins and Flight Of The Navigator? If so, then those are all. But any of that Little Mermaid, Lion King, Aladdin stuff, that’s all a huge gap in my pop culture knowledge. I think a lot of this stuff came out in the 90s when I was a teenager, and I’d actively avoid anything childlike at that age. I could watch now but I’m not sure it would hit the same without childhood nostalgia involved. I did make the obligatory trip to Disney World though, that was pretty fun. Pirates Of The Caribbean was a sick ride🤙

Not anymore. I used to like SOME of their movies: Flubber, The Love Bug, all those Kurt Russell movies, 101 Dalmations, The Jungle Book, the Winnie The Pooh shows but, that's about it. Most of the shit they do today is garbage and intended for brainwashing.
I used to until I saw little Britney spear dancing like stripper on TV. Also many stories are modified. I heard that original story has horrific endings. There are lots of Disney porn on internet too. and Disney got greedy and the theme park cost arm and a leg.
Frozen was the last movie I liked from Disney. In this time Disney still cared about their popularity in my country and hired singer with voice for songs and for dubbing. Later Disney went just downwards.

The Mouse ruins everything. They buy up good intellectual properties and run them into the ground, then blame their fans for their woke ideological failings. Or they just ride completely on nostalgia, zero innovating, well... except for tailoring stories for "modern audiences" which is just an innovative way to produce only flops.

Disney used to be great until they got infected by the woke mind virus and started pushing that agenda. They literally were bragging about having a not-so-secret gay agenda to insert LGBTQ content into children's media. The results are speaking for themselves: most of their movies last year bombed, Disney+ is basically dead, and their stock price has tanked. There is probably going to be a shareholder class action and maybe even a hostile takeover in Disney's near future.
I have enjoyed their movies growing up, liked the MCU until their post-Endgame content, and my wife's favorite movie was the original Little Mermaid so it's a damn shame.
the old stuff, some. now, I don't pay attention.
I question the quality of current stuff.
Veggie Tales are good... educational.
Going strong at 39 :D I agree that some of todays movies are garbage and they make them toooo long just to keep the anticipation, however, Im still a sucker and once every now and then there are some good ones! Lion King was the absolute favorite. In recent years I would say Moana, Frozen, Coco, Encanto... just to name a few.
I like some of the old Disney movies but not really a fan of it's modern stuff.
I was a big fan before. Less so now given their intentions. I haven't noticed a dip in the quality of their products but when the overtly come out and say they're trying to jam as much LGBTQ stuff as they can (their words, not mine), it really turns me off to it. Like me and me to-be children are here to enjoy a good story, not be manipulated or taught.
And if it's of any relevance, I'm bi. So this isn't a bais thing.I like Disney... been feeling it since childhood. Disneyland is my inner child's playground. I don't care for some the stuff Disney is about but yeah
yes kinda, let me explain: i feel like i was way more dedicated to disney when i was younger. now it's kinda just like "oh, yeah that is cool. anyway" lol I don't know
Nope, they look super cringe to me.
But that's my opinion , maybe your opinion is different than mine and it's awesome lol. everyone have different opinions lmaooAnything that is before 2014 - That was the day disney went down the toilet. They claim they are a family friendly movie industry - Bullschit! Here’s why - they made a movie that has the title of a book. Alexander and the terrible horrible no good very bad day. Here’s why.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/NKN0iUv5RMUYep. I always prefered the darker more action packed part of disney like gargoyles, gravity falls, owl house, and nightmare before Christmas.
Kind of. I loved The Owl House, Amphibia, The Ghost & Molly McGee, Bluey, Puppy Dog Pals, and PJ Masks.
I don't think I'm exactly a "Disney Adult", but I do love Disney movies, characters, and certain video games. 😄
there were some of my first drawings, so definitely yes...
Not anymore. Not once I found out about their unethical practices.
Disney is one of the companies that are on my boycott list. I am not a fan anymore. Maybe when they find a cure for cancer and thaw out Walt Disney and bring him back to life I will reconsider.
I grew up on the old Disney. Sunday night 1hr Disney program was family time around the TV. It was great family programming. Not sure I like where they have gone. Walt is probably rolling over in his grave with some of the things they are doing.
Some if their new stuff is ok but other things are plain shit.no, there hasn't been anything newer that I like except some of the Pixar films.
Many of those I like.I like some things but there's also a lot I don't like. New Star Wars for instance. I liked Rogue One and Andor everything else was not for me.
meh i can't even name one off top of my head lol i watched some growing up but i don't remember them
