That's a tough one. I think romance is my least favorite genre; it's rarely portrayed in a way that bears any semblance to real-world relationships in my perspective.
Maybe Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I love the sci-fi element which provides a lot of food for thought and I think the relationship between Joel and Clementine was at least plausible to a degree.

I don't like romance movies.
They tend to lack any interesting plot points or events, and usually depict a couple of idiots who either are too stubborn to be together despite compatability, or are imcompatible yet are too stubborn to leave. I hate that sort of relationship tension, and prefer the "strangers grow into friends, then best friends, then become inseperable" type of story. Plus a movie is a bad medium for romance stories because of how short they are, making the above better option not have enough time to unfold.
Anime series tend to do a better job at forging a genuine connection between the characters, while also doing it at a realistic pace and method, and having the story have action packed battles and characters doing their hobbies or figuring out mysteries and other interesting things that are not romance related.
Whereas romance movies are just about romance or lust, the anime is more likely to be about romance, combat, heroism, problem solving, amazing creatures, tech, or places, and in some cases it even doubles as porn.
Gymnophopia in the public's minds, as well as a lack of real couples portraying couples on screen, means that animation will always portray better relationships than live action shows or movies, simply because voice actors and animators have far more freedom to do so.Oh, there's a lot, but I will go with "Somewhere In Time", a 1980 romance that has a cult following including a club.
A playwright visiting a hotel falls in love with an actress pictured in a 1912 photo and uses self-hypnosis to go 68 years back in time to meet her.

Possibly, "Somewhere In time".
But, the way they made the T. V. show, "Roswell", it's like an extremely long movie and has a great deal of romance in it so, if that WERE a movie, that'd be my pick! "The Wonder Years" might be second.Hmm. It's hard to pick just one. I'll need to give this some more thought. If I had to just pluck one out of thin air, I suppose Definitely, Maybe is a decent enough film 📽️🎥 see some of them can be cringey the romance movies so yeah. 😔😞 Bit hard to pick
I guess I never quite grew up. Words Bubble Up Like a Soda Pop is my favorite. Love the minimalist pop style, pleasant vibes, and how many things are communicated in Haikus.
Favorite one?
That is tough but yes one movie I liked very much is " Ghosts of Girlfriend past" released in the year 2009. The concept of realization was very well shown in that movie.

Whatever that isn't too romantic and icky. Like Under the tuscan sun - a adventurous travel flick, The passengers - great sci-fi action, Before sunrise - laidback and relatable.
That would be "No Reservations"
