There is a 25-episode cartoon series here in Japan based on popular comic book series called Berserk (ベルセルク).

I really enjoyed it a lot. It looks very macho and is but even my wife enjoyed it so much that she ended up read all the comic books after.

The main character, Gatsu, is the ultimate antihero and the show deals with a lot of very morally grey characters, perhaps similar to Game of Thrones.

Also outside of Japan, I really liked Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal. One of the really interesting qualities of the show is that it manages to be extremely interesting despite having virtually no dialogue.

My fave would have to be the Tex Avery classic, "Magical Maestro"!! They just DON'T come any funnier!! Most of Tex's cartoons are better than anything anybody else ever put out with the possible exception of Bob Clampett's cartoons. He and Tex were the best there ever was!!

Family guy, American dad, rick and Morty, Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's, Beyblade but a really old one that no one seems to know about, Avatar and the old transformers show/1980s film was great. HTTYD series as well.

Though I'm not sure if avatar and HTTYD are classed as cartoons.
