Shrek 2 will be re-released in theaters this year?

For those who remember and old enough when this movie came out back in 2004, how do you feel about this movie is going to be 20 years old? How old were you at the time and memories when seeing Shrek 2?

I remember when the first Shrek came out, I thought it was stupid but funny when I watched the trailers.. I was never into the Shrek franchise.. My mother didn't let us watch.. But I remember when it came out..

Yeah, it feels like it's been a long time since it came out.. I remember I thought Fiona was sexy, and Shrek shaking her awake.. Lmao.. And I don't remember if it was a big deal or not.. Since Toy Story came out, and broke grounds before I don't know if it was..

It was nowhere near as good as shrek 1 and 3. It just had a good soundtrack. Shrek 4 also sucked but had a good soundtrack

I beg to differ, I love you mama but Shrek 2 is a masterpiece and I love all the Shrek movies. I love the first and second one. The original movie is an absolute classic. A true gem of the early 2000s. The story, it’s subversion of classic fairy tale tropes and its humor is way way ahead of its time. Shrek 2 was an instant masterpiece and one of the greatest animated sequels of all time. It does a great job of expanding the lore and continuing the story in a meaningful way, and it has better villains which is always a major plus. Holding Out For a Hero is one of the best musical performances in movie, Puss In Boots is a pretty fun edition and it’s a lot funnier.

The third one was good but it didn’t come close to the first Shrek movies and fourth one is just the finale of the franchise
