Do you think Shrek 2 would have beat Spider-Man (2002) Opening Weekend Record if it opened on a Friday instead of Wednesday?

Just for reference Spider-Man opened to 114 million in 2002 while Shrek 2 opened 6 million short with 108 million in 2004. However, Shrek 2 was released on a Wednesday and even though it’s Wednesday and Thursday gross were a lot lower than individual fri/sat/sun it still blew off some steam those days. It only need about 6% more it’s opening weekend to break the record
