the ones with n. cage and demons are great, several 🙂 but blood n ghosts are too gross like scenes in 6 sense 1999. and pirates caribean curse, even caspers brothers realistic, so too gross. but all those had good story! overall worth it. in contrast to ghost busters, just slime, so I liked when i was younger, when it came out. i watched the series again n realized now i matured.

i agree not gory like vampire ones twilight? film series and scream series i stopped at beginning.

also the one that started: "running terrified in forest from who knows what", i realized horror. left at beginning. asked money back they compromised free popcorn, but no refund. buyer beware!

Smth like "Running terrified in forest.." no I can't, those movies like Anabelle or conjuring, I can't tho I watched "it" series and conjuring 1 but I had nightmares for a whole month, even Attack on titans scare me.., when it says -16 I don't watch it, no matter how old am I, as long as it's written -16, nope

I'm not a big fan of the most supernatural types. I think horror and suspense comes from knowing what's likely to happen but dreading it anyway, not having no idea of what's going to happen, and supernatural ones (with magic and ghosts and so forth) make it difficult to tell what's going to happen.

Also a lot of Tarantino films. Most people probably don't consider Tarantino films in the realm of horror but I do. I think they give you that lingering sense of dread of what's likely to happen:

Fear of the known is much more powerful to me this way than fear of the unknown. The unknown, at least for me, provides nothing to fear since we don't know what there is to fear.

yes, but I'm not a fan of demonic possession because none will ever top the Exorcist. Also not a fan of horror movies with a pregnant woman as the main character, vampires, zombies (infected or living dead), or monster movies.
I prefer slashers and ghosts

I love those kind of movies, especially if I am alone. I always choose to watch after 1 or 2 am. But then I get frequent night terrors too. Worth it! I just love horror movies. Lol.
