9 moNever liked them. They're usually low budget, terrible acting, and very predictable. I haven't ever been scared of them for that reason. But I don't see the point in them either. You pay to watch a movie to scare yourself so you might have some nightmares and shit your pants? Make it make sense 😂

9 moNot really. Most horror movies are pretty bad. The only fun I get out of it is predicting the script and the plot twists 5 minutes to an hour before they happen or making fun of the special effects. Some are so bad they become cult classics because of how bad they are.

I do enjoy horror movies! They have a unique way of engaging the audience and delivering a thrill that no other genre does. The suspense, unexpected twists, and creative storytelling always captivate me. Plus, the adrenaline rush and psychological depth often leave me thinking long after the movie ends. 🎬👻

9 moI like some, not all. I’m not a fan of slashers or crime-based ones, but I’m all ABOUT supernatural and monster horror movies, anything that doesn’t involve humans as the primary antagonist. I love seeing the depths of the imagination in eldritch and in cosmic horror, I love deciphering the message the movie is trying to tell us about how the victims brought their fate upon themselves, I love seeing the visual representation of society’s greatest fears (ie monster movies of the 50’s represent their fear of nuclear war, slasher movies represent serial killer fears, zombie movies are a fear of immigrants, etc.). And I love when you can see the work was made with clear direction and love, even in short films. Like Primogeniture is not even 5 minutes long but what a great short horror movie depicting the burdens of the eldest daughters in families.

Anonymous(18-24)9 moGhost. The only encounter I ever had with a ghost was when my boyfriend went home after we had sex. I fell asleep and had like this outer body experience looking down. Anyway there was like the shadow man on top of me thrusting into me and like i could feel he was huge. I woke up to a massive squirting orgasm, the bed was broke, the mattress was soaking, my up over my boobs and when I found my underwear they were ripped like theyd been torn off me.
My other college roommates say that there's something spooking in the house but never elaborate and I have caught one of them flipping her mattress and washing her sheets after she had an "accident". But I heard her moaning and her bed thumping against my bedroom wall but there was no guy staying over. Hasn't happened again.

Yea I enjoy horror films , to me they are more comical than scary , but there are some scary creepy ones out there as well , especially the ones that are based off a true story , some of them give me the chills but that’s rare , cuz not many horror movies scare me , if it does, then they did a damn good job making that film , overall it’s just entertainment to me. Evil Dead’s with Bruce Campbell is one of my favorite movies of all time , it’s gory and comical and entertaining

9 moYeah I like horror, really any kind. I suppose its because I like the adrenaline of fear. When I was a kid we used to play horror versions of kids games like Micheal Myers hide and seek and who was it had a butcher knife and would sneak around and find you and it would be scary.
20 ReplyNot my thing
When I was a kid they would scare me
Then I grew a little and they didn’t scare me anymore
And now they don’t do much at all. Because if they’re not scary and they don’t have a meaningful story then there’s nothing left
That being said: I’d watch one if we were a group of people
It’s always fun watching everyone else lose it20 ReplyI don’t just watch horror movies Yogi, I dance with the darkness itself.. 🤣
The thrill, the suspense, the fear it’s not about being scared, it’s about testing courage, control, n staying unshaken.. 😱
I like stories that challenge the mind, ignite adrenaline, n let me walk through fear without losing myself.. 👻20 Reply
9 moWell like any other genre of movie , they provide entertainment. I’ve always liked horror as a genre just like I’ve always disliked romantic comedies. The appeal to me is mainly the adrenaline / anticipation they can provide, a little of the gore , and a little of the subject matter as many deal , specifically those that I like , with the occult , or the supernatural.
I like many other genre of film though.10 ReplyI don't like them anymore but they were my first favorite type movies. I remember being about 5 and talking about Alfred Hitchcock movies. Also that creepy movie 'Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte' with Bette Davis. I liked the series 'Dark Shadows' in 1969-70.

9 moNo. They have a terrible plot and often really unrealistic. It makes me facepalm and the villains are always just trying to be edgy. Our local horror are better because they are linked with folklores, animistic beliefs, Christianity, morals. Unlike many western horrors today just being straight up generic ghosts or killers that kills people bloodly, gorey, like i dont see raw meat everytime.

9 moYes it’s my favorite genre. I have been watching them since I was a young kid. My first horror movies were Halloween and Friday the 13th.. From there it kind of took over my brain. Lol
20 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. Yes, I like many horror movies, they are quite exciting indeed, especially if they are related to some supernatural events. I also like Fantasy, and Science Fiction, those genres can be well combined with Horror.

There are a lot of low budget unrealistic crappy ones however that are just a laugh.10 Reply- 821 opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic.
9 moWhat Samuel Coleridge called the "willing suspension of disbelief" is at play. Same for sci fi. Go where the story leads & enjoy the adrenaline rush!

9 moYes. Mostly because, as a kid, you feel like your tough for liking really horrific movies, especially when others around you can't take them. So, I got into them and usually like them.
