Why are films released after the pandemic so bad?

You may have missed Mario and Top Gun.

At any rate, political messaging in movies and TV shows has been terrible over the last few years, for one thing. They keep race and sex-swapping characters and it's annoying. For another, movies have become too dang expensive, so it's impossible for them to recoup their production costs, which makes them look terrible.

And ultimately, I think actors, writers, and directors are just getting complacent and lazy.

Some people say it's because Hollywood is more concerned with far-left political messaging and racist hiring practices instead of making viable commercial products.
