'Pulse' (2006), with Kristen Bell. It's been heavily criticised by the critics, but what would they know? I go by the rule that if a film has been savagely attacked by the critics it must be good, but if it's been praised by them then it must be crap. Works every time :)
That's honestly very true. I got roasted before for saying that "black actors should be happy they aren't winning Oscars", because every Oscar winning movie I've seen was utter garbage.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. I don't consider winning an Oscar a good thing
I love Japanese horror it is just much creepier. I really like ju-on: the grudge movies, Dark water, and The ring.

I don't think I watched any horror produced in the 2000s... I watched horrors until the late 90's, including the entire Millennium series and then only the Alien/Predator universe... and Crimson Peak out of my love for Hiddlestone's talent.
Sorry I don't know any from 2000s.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/qFhs5LCNTFYI don't like scary movies. The only scary movie I've ever enjoyed is Jurassic Park.
The Scary Movie man! Hell yeah!
RUN ITCH! RUUUUUUUN!
Shit, I don't remember the specific years they came out. But "Orphan" is a great one, but I consider that more of a thriller than a horror. "Orphan" is something that could actually happened. And that plot twist was wild!
