I watched some Disney and Cartoon Network, but I was watching mostly adult channels. Think ones like Adult Swim, Spike, MTV, and others by 8 years old. A year or two later I think I strictly only watched them.
When I was a child, there was no cable TV and no internet or streaming services. All television was broadcast from antennae and you needed an antenna to receive the signal. The four stations available were affiliates for ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS. That's it. And there were no VCR's to play videos. The public library loaned out 16mm movies that you could watch at home if you had a 16mm projector.
I had a few: Cartoon Network, Nickolodeon, Nick Jr., Nicktoons, Noggin, Jetix, Discovery Kids, The Hub, and Disney XD. Note that some of these channels are no longer around. I'd watch 4Kids shows too but only on the internet since we didn't have it on TV.
Techically Jetix and Disney XD are the same channel. Fox Ran the channel early 90s by Fox Kids then it rebranded to Jetix in early 2000s before Disney took over then Disney retired it recently.
None of these. My family was too broke to afford cable. I usually had to settle for watching movies instead of TV shows

There was only 5 TV channels when I was growing up. There were a few people that hosted children's shows. There was a guy who dressed up as an astronaut. He showed Three Stooges films and did some skits. There wa another guy who was a cowboy that had a show on Saturday morning.
I watched this Japanese cartoon series named Doraemon.
None of these because private TV channels started relatively late in Germany and in the first few years only few households were connected.
These young people.

Nickelodeon. Cartoon Network didn’t exist yet, and Dis eye was a premium channel, and I was lucky my parents paid for cable at all, haha.
“Dis eye?” Lmfao
DISNEY😂
I never watched any TV till I was 12 and when I did, I thought it was total garbage with NO redeeming qualities.
Never even had a TV in the house growing up.
I grew up before the Internet existed. We only had 3 channels ABC, CBS, NBC. I watched shows on all three, but probably watched more NBC.
Nickelodeon. 😎

I liked all but old Nickelodeon was the best
I know you won't believe this but there were no kids channels when I was growing up. The regular channels had like an hour when they would show kids shows.
Out of those, cartoon network mostly, with a bit of nickleodeon.
I watched a lot of Disney channel, nickelodeon and PBS Kids when I was younger
No cable when I was a lad, so I watched ABC, CBS and NBC, the only available stations which aired my favourite Westerns. (Why do you think I'm sometimes called "Cowboy?")
Where I lived all we had when I was growing up was CBC. And yes it was terrible.
The earliest I remember was Andy Gang with Andy Devine, My Friend Flicka, and Shy King a few of many in the early 1950s
Grew up in the boonies, we had 3 local channels and that was it
I couldn't get any of these as a kid cause my parents didn't buy the required TV box package.
When I was a kid none of these existed. We watched Saturday morning cartoons.
