Which batman film or series did you like best and why?

I queued up at the Cinema when Batman (Jack Nicholson was Joker) and from start to finish I was captivated by it. The music was iconic, the special FX for the time were perfect, and the actors gave just the right amount of over the top acting you expect from a superhero movie!
Of course watching all the different Batman's back on the small screen lose something, but in terms of the experience, I have to go with the above!

I like the Arkham trilogy the most. The first couple Batman movies with Michael Keaton are good too, but the Arkham trilogy are my favorite. I enjoyed the story more in those.

Lego Batman is the best Batman.

Joking aside, I actually think Ben Affleck was a really good casting choice, but screwed over by bad writing and direction. I think Val Kilmer fell into a similar problem to a lesser degree, and ultimately just became kind of forgettable.

The Christian Bale trilogy easily has the most staying power, and are the only ones I'll really go back and watch, but I don't think that he personally was that great in the role, but rather the trilogy has solid performances from everyone involved and solid directing.

Michael Keaton was good, but was completely overshadowed by The Joker in his own movie.

Robert Pattinson would've made a better Nightwing.

The worst is Clooney, no question. There really aren't any redeeming qualities to that movie or his performance.

Batman 89 & returns. Thought balebat played Bruce Wayne like he was Patrick Batman and if you look at it balebat was actually only Batman for at most a year all together. Batnipples and killer batmen were made to sell toys. Batpatterson was too emo and seemed like he had no training and really struggled against goons. Batfleck was probably the 2nd best Batman even though he old and again he takes too much damage against goons but at least he was fighting his war against crime for more than a year.

I liked The Dark Knight best (Heath Ledger is the Joker), and The Batman with Robert Pattinson. I was a little skeptical of his ability to pull off Batman, but I really liked it. I loved Paul Dano as the Riddler, he's such an underrated actor and I think he's fantastic.

Alfred Pennyworth is my favorite character, and I like Jeremy Irons, Michael Caine, and Andy Serkis equally in that role. They are all just top notch actors.

I feel like Ben Affleck's Batman just never really reaches his full potential. He just seems kind of flat and lacks dimension. Christian Bale was superior in that he actually had a plausible alter ego act.

I like three Batman movies a lot that is Batman and Batman returns with Michael Keaton and Batman forever with Val kilmer. I will watch Batman and Robin once in a blue moon just because it had Arnold in it as Mr freeze but Clooney was not very good. And didn't care for Poison ivy in it either. But Chris O'Donnell still did solid as Robin. As for the others Christian Bale and Ben Affleck not really a fan. Only have the one because of Heath ledger as the joker was a good performance

Michael Keaton was my favorite Batman by far I love the Tim Burton ones. Christian bale was pretty good aside from his voice he would do. I thought Batman begins and the dark knight both the excellent movies the last one with bane sucked though. I thought Val Kilmer did a great job in Batman forever even if the Schumacher Batman’s werent the best overall. George Clooney was awful in Batman & robin 🤣. I even thought Robert Pattinson did a really good job in the new one as well.

All that being said, I still think Batman the animated series from the 90’s with Kevin conroy and Mark Hammill was the absolute best though. The stories were well done, great voice acting and animation. I still watch it on dvd all the time.

The 60's series. It was so ridiculously bad, that it had some appeal. In all other aspects, superhero ado is American garbage at best.

I liked the original series with Adam West and Burt Ward. It was campy... and funny. All of the movies are too dark.

If only for the music score, the Nolan trilogy. There are funny major issues when I rewatch…like Batman’s voice and the big battle scene in the last one where no one shoots each other. there's even one scene where a bad guy chooses to try to beat Batman with his machine gun instead of shooting.
And the “surprise” non-death ending didn’t add up. Lol

But its still sooo good.

I love Michael Keaton Batman two films and I enjoy Ben Affleck's appearances but hands down Christian Bale (Chris Nolan's Trilogy films) is my number one best.
