Actually, Paris is known as the City of Lights but it is a very old nickname for the city. I have never been to Las Vegas but I understand the neon lights on "the strip" can be overwhelming.

I don't like Paris. I don’t think it appeals to me as much as Vegas. I suggest you go to Vegas. As you said, the neon lights there are beautiful and there are many places to play.

I would advise reading up on it and make sure you know what areas are safe and which areas aren't and be aware of things like homeless people, scam artists and the like. And obviously use common sense.

But I mean people really only go there for two reasons drinking and gambling that's mainly what it's known for. But they do a lot of shows and stuff there to.

But there are also other things there you'll just have to look and see what kind of events or shows, etc there are.

Been there a few times. Jumping off the Stratosphere was fun. You can play virtual strip poker on some of the machines there.

General advice though, plan ahead to check out the strip as well as Fremont St (old vegas). Buy a few AMF slushies and be prepared to wake up broke. Good luck
