Do you like Caricatures (parody/comic drawings) of yourself?

I LOVE Caricatures, which is why I got my partner a Caricature of him and our child (2) for father's day. I didn't know if he was going to like it or not, but I really wanted to get it done, and, thankfully, he absolutely loves it. I know people who aren't comfortable getting caricatures of themselves, but like seeing other people as caricatures. I also know people who think they're absolutely horrible, because they are exaggerating features that could be embarrassing.

How do you feel about Caricatures?

now that i understand them... i was quite traumatized seeing the caricturist sample... my "generous" parents offered to pay for my caricature when i was 3, i looked at the sample not comprehend... i didn't like it... fair is fair he showed a sample.. but my parents urged me " it will look like you" so i agreed n saw the caricature... i was shocked "do i look like that?"

3 year olds dont understand that kind of art! it was a mean prank. the guy said he doesn't expect pay if the kid didn't like it, i was very upset but argued "you did work n showed a sample" i think they paid.

but my generosity parents never offerd to pay for a caricature when i can appreciate the silliness! it was just a mean prank on a toddler by jerks!

I had a caricature of myself drawn by an artist on the bank of the Seine in Paris several years ago. I love it.
