Have you ever watched Sense8?

I haven't watched that one yet. It sounds intriguing though. And Wolfgang is definitely easy on the eyes from the googling I just did.
Right? Lol
I did, but there are no more seasons and I'm bummed.
I was bummed there were no more seasons too!!!

No, but it's JMS, so it's very likely to be quite good.
I think it was on TV a long time ago. Wasn't on HULU before HULU was a pay channel? I think I did see it. It was okay. Did you ever see Misfits?
OMG, Yes! It was such a great show! I loved the part where the smart-ass kid was sleeping with that beautiful girl, who turned out to be an old lady… The orgasm scene was both terrifying and hilarious when she briefly turned back! My dad’s English, and we lived in England for the first part of my life, so I’m a HUGE fan or British TV! I’m shocked at how many great American shows, were actually British shows, that were merely adapted for US audiences!
@CrazyGirl2 There was a TV show in America called Life On Mars that nobody watched. It was only on for 1 year but I really liked it. It was copied from a show in Britain of the same name.
@exitseven Oh yes! I watched BOTH! The British version was by FAR the better show! I LOVED that show! Sam was gorgeous, in a gritty but very ethical way, and the British version had a more realistic violent glint of policing in the 1970’s and 80’s than the US version due to TV censorship in the US. I also loved Sam’s copper coloured Ford Cortina, (get it, copper?) I believe there was a sequel to the British version called Ashes to Ashes (someone loved Bowie) but I’ve never seen it. Also, being from the North of England, I loved the Manchester setting, accents, and getting to see the England my dad grew up in, even though he would have been 4/5 in 1973, and to him, he “grew-up” in the 80’s, but still. Yeah what a great show. It’s yet another example of brilliant tv shows in the US that were actually British!
@CrazyGirl2 I think you and me were the only two people who ever watched the US version. I never met anyone who even heard of it.
We didn't watch very much TV growing up, mostly because my dad works in the motion picture industry, so we watched a lot of “screeners” (which are movies released to critics and industry insiders before it’s released to the general public). But when we did watch a TV show, it was usually one that his friends in England had recommended. I’m guessing when he discovered that a production company was adapting Life on Mars for US television, (it’s a “small" community) he wanted to see it. Likely in the hopes that it would be done well, similar to The Office. It really was not, but it was still a decent show in its’ own right, when not compared to the British version! I don’t remember ever speaking to anyone who’s seen either version to be honest. Well, not here in the US anyway.
No, not yet. I just got finished with Fallout, and then discovered that Outlaws actually had ANOTHER season! I REALLY hope Christopher Walken is in this season too. He was so great in the others. But I’ll definitely put Sense8 on my watch list.
thanks, Laura 🤗 🥰
