What was your favorite desktop computer game?

Microsoft used to have all sorts of desktop games back in the early 1990s (or at least I remember them being exclusive to Microsoft). Which of those games did you play and which ones were your favorites?

I remember Chip's Challenge, Jezzball, Pipe Dream, Minesweeper, Tri-Peaks, Taipei, and of course, Solitaire and Tetris.

What do you remember and which ones did you like?

Tetris is hard to beat even to this day.

But I remember Pong on black and white screens in the '70s. This was so popular it was everywhere. And I knew people who would spend hours and hours playing. There was a screen in every bar across America and there were people gathered around it to play.

It seems primitive today, but in my opinion it may be the most iconic video game of them all because it was the game that introduced video games to the masses and was a pioneer in making them is popular as they became. Everyone new Pong in those days. It was a cultural phenomenon.

Lemmings was my all time favorite desktop game & I remember it like I played it yesterday & if I played it today I bet I can beat the game all over again.

I liked to play Microsoft Flight Simulator. I had several versions on my desktop before I switched to a laptop.

If we are just talking about games bundled into windows itself in the 1990s, then space cadet pinball. But if we are talking about any games at all that are playable on PC, then I have a very long favorites list.
