Anybody else notice US movies are starting to all suck?

Starting to suck? It was 2016 when the Ghostbusters remake came out. That's 7 years ago. That was when the communist propaganda push really accelerated to include woke garbage as the basis of every movie rather than an actual plot.

This occurred because Obama removed anti-propaganda laws in the U. S. in mid 2013. So in 2014 you start getting propaganda writers creating scripts, in 2015 they are filming the movies based on those scripts, and by 2016 they start to hit the theaters.

But what particular laws were those?

I just thought that "Commiewood" had become so arrogant that they thought the public would continue to buy whatever they put out, so they lost even "the bottom line" financial constraints on what they wanted to do.

@Curmudgeon The Smith-Mundt Act prohibited the U. S. Department of State and the Broadcasting Board of Governors from disseminating government produced programming within the United States. It was repealed in mid 2013 under the Obama administration. Since then, the government has been free to disseminate domestic propaganda to the American people to covertly influence public opinion. This brought forth the rise of woke films, blatant propaganda in broadcast and print news media, and even misinformation campaigns over social media to censor facts and distribute conflicting propaganda.

@patois So that's it - horrid. And of course, those companies who comply get government contracts, venture capital firms like Blackrock fund them (also infiltrated there too). It all makes a horrid sense now.

I'd say the movie business has about another 12-24 months left in it as it's probably all going to streaming nowadays lol 🤣😆

I guess private equity or others will either buy out businesses aka movie cinema chains ⛓️ or they'll just go out of business - shrugs - I'm only disappointed it's declined. You know. Ah well - that's culture for you , comes and goes 😁 sunrise sunset etc
