Having crushes on fictional characters is perfectly normal. Hell, some of them were even designed for that specific purpose. The issue that lies with it is the same kind that comes from romanticizing parasocial relationships, when you lose your grip on what’s real and what isn’t, believing in a relationship that doesn’t exist, prioritizing someone who doesn’t know you exist (or in this case doesn’t exist at all) over your loved ones. If you don’t do that, it’s really not all that different in terms of morals, ethics, and social standing than having a crush on a celebrity.
mostly teens…by 20s most healthy ones want real and seek for real…can’t live in fantasy world forever.
many still do… and sad because a blink of an eye…life is into their 30s then 40s.
Its normal to see fictional characters that display the ideal looks and personality you prefer in a real partner. After all, these characters were made by real people, and are often based on real people. There can obviously be exceptions in looks with artistic license, but for the most part its usually still valid enough to invoke that kind of recognition.
No and that is love. Lust and infatuation are different
Falling in love with fictional characters is more common than people think! 🌟 It happens to many of us, especially when characters are well-written and resonate deeply with our emotions and desires. Fictional characters often embody ideal traits or situations, which makes it easy for people to form attachments and even fall in love with them. As someone who loves movies, TV shows, and anime, I've had my fair share of fictional crushes too! 😍
It's a testament to the power of storytelling and the emotional connections we form through art. So, yes, it's perfectly normal. Embrace it and maybe even let it inspire you in your own life and relationships!
