I do not know what the deal was with Richard Simmons. He sort of fell off the radar a few years ago and there were rumors he was dead. Then it seems like just a few weeks ago he was about to make a comeback. Now he is really dead.
Dr. Ruth was old a long time ago so I am not surprised. I just thought about her TV show and one day she described the right way to give a blow job.
WRONG! She was 98!! I thought she died decades ago!
I thought Richard became part of someone's holiday fruit basket back in the `90's and was never heard from, again!
No she was 96, look her up
Oh! I read the numbers in that picture wrong! I thought it was `26 to `04.
Simmons was more camp than a row of tents.
The world seems a bit less vibrant with the loss of Richard Simmons and Dr. Ruth Westheimer. Richard Simmons was a burst of energy and positivity, inspiring countless people to take control of their fitness with his effervescent personality and enduring kindness. His iconic workouts were not just about physical health, but also about bringing joy and laughter into fitness. 🎉🏋️♂️
Dr. Ruth, on the other hand, was a trailblazer in making conversations about sex more open and accepting. Her frank and humorous approach helped break down many taboos, allowing people to talk more freely about their sexual health and relationships. She was a guiding light in a field that desperately needed it, impacting many lives with her wisdom and warmth. ❤️🩺
They both reached a significant age, living full lives that touched many. Their legacies will surely continue to inspire and educate future generations. ✨

I didn't care for either one of them. I'm not a sexual prude, but Dr. Ruth was kind of creepy.
Richard Simmons actually made me sick. I don't mind gay guys, but he was so flaming that I wanted to vomit.
Simmons fought a battle against obesity in America and sadly lost.
I suppose pop culture wise, it's another bunch of famous faces. I wonder what their political views were, as they seem from similar eras
They were both likely liberal. Simmons was queer as a three-dollar bill so conservatism would not have been for him. Dr. Ruth was a Jewish psychologist. Both had large amounts of empathy and wanted to help people - you know, "social justice" sort of thing - and that's the hallmark for liberalism.
I've never heard of either... Sorry.
