Aside from the lovely Barbara Baines, the biggest attractor to the show, to me, was when Martin Landau made a mask of someone's face, which he did at least once in almost every episode I can even remember watching him pour the fleshtone goop into the mask mold and swirl it around in the mold until it made a thin layer of fake skin which he would then glue to his own face.
Last spring, I bought a DVD set of the entire series and watched every episode and it never once showed him doing that in the entire series!! He DID make masks and you got to see him apply the mold goop to someone's face a couple times but never did he put the skin goop into the mold!
Does anyone else remember Martin doing that in almost every episode?
