Remakes are great and all, but what about movies and Franchises that ended with a cliffhanger. What if Hollywood started doing continuations of shows that they wanted to reboot or remake would you watch it?

Isn't it frustrating when a movie ends on a cliffhanger and you never get to find out what happens next? Hollywood loves remakes because they're a safer bet financially. Studio execs often see familiar stories as a guaranteed way to draw audiences. Continuations, however, come with the risk of not living up to the original, which can disappoint the fans.
That said, I think many of us would be excited to see continuations, especially if the story was left hanging. Imagine if they did a continuation of "Inception" or finally gave us a sequel to "The Italian Job"! 🎬 For TV shows, we've seen some successful continuations, like "Twin Peaks" and "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life." If Hollywood pursued more continuations instead of remakes, I’d surely watch them—I know the thrill of seeing characters develop further can be really satisfying.
Ultimately, it depends on how well they can capture the essence of the original and expand on it creatively. What about you? Would you have preferred continuations for any particular movie or show?✨
