Why can’t kids shows be like this anymore?

Winnie the Pooh was cute, clever, funny and wholesome. This series was not a random attempt to sell kids merchandise. This was art, and good clean fun for all ages.

Most kids shows now are nothing but badly animated toy-looking characters with random fart jokes and repetitive nonsense that the parents avoid the cringe of. I would never let my kids watch heartless junk like that.

I know, right? I haven't watched Winnie the pooh that much as a kid, but it was cute. I watched a lot the old Disney shows and shorts. The old Disney channel shows were the best like the suit life of Zack and cody, kim possible, etc. Even nickelodeon back then was better. Such as double dare, legends of the hidden temple, rugrats, drake and josh, etc. Even spongebob was better back then, now that show is just terrible with these newer episodes. I still watch some Disney movies at my age, mostly some of the old ones I grew up watching, my favorite is lilo and stitch. But I can agree, a lot of these newer shows are not so great. It's not the same anymore.

Looney Tunes was near that time I think and it wasn’t cute, wholesome, and whatever… Though it is regarded and looked back on fondly, same with Tom And Jerry.

I do believe the reason why Winnie The Pooh is wholesome, cute, funny is because it is based on material that is a father reading to his little boy fictional stories involving his childhood stuffed animals. Even the forest the book takes place in is a real place because that is where he grew up (100 Acre Woods)

My kids liked the classics And I have to say that I now enjoy watching Ren and stimpy, South Park again, classic Warner Brothers, SpongeBob, Victorious, finneas & Ferb, Dexter's lab, Powerpuff girls with them

They all passed on gi joe, transformers, super friends, thunder the barbarian and heman. WTF do they know. Dummies!
