I am sure they regret hiring her after her blasting of the classic animated version resulted in such a backlash. At this point it might not even matter if it is a good movie.

It wouldn't matter who plays the character because it would still be trash. Disney's current writing and directing staff resent the source material and have made it a habit of stripping away key points from the original stories in order to push an agenda. In this case, they have changed the relationship between Snow White and the dwarves so that she is no longer actually bringing anything of value to them in exchange for taking her in to their home, but instead becomes their girlboss. It says a lot about what Disney thinks a "leader" is when thats what they come up with, rather than leading by example and teaching the dwarves to better care for themselves. They have also changed the fundamental core of the story regarding "who is fairest in the land" to something about fair in terms of justice, completely changing the foil between Snow White's grace and the Queen's vanity. This is all before just flat out ignoring physical descriptions and personalities of characters, which is another issue.

Disney is no longer in the entertainment business. They are in the woke messaging, propaganda business. Therefore I don't patronize them whenever I can avoid it. Inside Out 2 was their best attempt at entertainment without sliding in their woke messaging in a decade.

Pair that with all the hate and backlash Disney itself has this movie aside and my guess is they'll lose a lot of money.

Did it really have full size adult dudes as the dwarves? If so that's pretty fucking hilarious. I don't know anything about the movie, but woke stuff tends to be really boring and cheesy, so I steer clear most of the time.

The evil queen is much more attractive than snow white. That's just horrible casting.

It's as bad as the casting of Snow White and the huntsman. They make stunning Charlize Theron the evil queen and then make some unattractive lesbian snow white and then wonder why the movie failed. I mean I know it's a fairy tale, but it's got be at least somewhat plausible to at least create the illusion of being real.

I don't mind at all about what the actors look like. If the story is done well it can be fun to have a slightly new adapted version otherwise we already can just watch the old Disney movie if you want.

I like Rachel Zegler, she did a good job in Shazam and Hunger Games. But the in the original story Snow White is called by that name because she had skin white as snow. And the evil queen looks a lot attractive in this movie as well. Casting could have been better.

She cute and almost white but not quite Snow White. The movie is basically ruined because of trying to be agenda led. CGI dwarves for such an inclusive film... Says perfectly where the US is with their social politics where the industries try to follow whatever trends are in with no real care or understanding. It's all BS but I'm sure once that all simmers down I could watch this later on in life and be slightly entertained.

I only know about Rachel from the 2021 version of West Side Story. As far as Snow White, I've only seen the trailer, on the "Songs From A Suitcase" Music Reaction Channel. As that channel creator delves deeper into that movie, I'll be able to form a much better opinion of the music within that movie. (I know nothing about Lucy Hale)

I haven't seen it but I loved Rachel Zegler in Steven Spielberg's remake of 'West Side Story" a couple of years ago ! And Rachel's an especially nice name isn't it @rachel776 ?
