I don't know where I was at that exact day at that exact time. I do know I wasn't really a Tupac fan before he died. It wasn't until I saw the "California Love" video with Dre that I even got turned on to Tupac. Back then I was I Snoop Dogg fan. It didn't really phase me at all when I heard Tupac was killed. I've since developed an appreciation for his talent. And it's unfortunate when any such talent dies. But unfortunately you live by the sword you'll inevitably die by the sword. Tupac lived his life like most his age. With reckless abandon. And it cost him dearly.
