British humour is often based around self-deprecation or confessing to your fuck ups. In America it's more common for people to big up their achievements and hide or deny their faults. American humour is based on ridiculing others while the British ridicule themselves.
I refused to believe I was dyslexic and gay.
I was in Daniel
My partner said "Sex is better on holiday"
Not the nicest thing to read on a postcard from them.
Not sure but I know they're very old jokes
British. all the British people i met were hilarious
As a French, I'm not aware of French humor. Japanese looks odd, they seem to find public humiliation humorous which I find disturbing lol. My perception of US humour is... extreme satire? Too dark, too nihilistic for my taste.
British, what we call British humor, here, is... Something related to absurdity? Which I'm in love with, absurdism is even one of my core philosophies of life. Definitely keeps me sane and all.
I like British humor too. As for french humor if were talking about film i would say things like 'The Wing or The Thigh' or 'Romantics Anonymous' would count as french humor while for comics i would say Asterix and Obelix
Okay I think I see what you mean with such movies, then it's something like circumstantial humor? And a dumb one lol. I don't know how to qualify Asterix, it's... Yeah, I have no idea
I wouldn't say American style but as an entertainer , trump has charisma and great timeing and funny lines. Hear him at a rally!

I grew up with Monty python my parents had all the DVD's so i can't really vote anything other than British humor can i?
American, but dry British humor is pretty good.
The Turks I've met are pretty funny too
i can swear that she is turkish, but i can't prove it
Definitely British humor :D
I appreciate British humor more than the generally openly vulgar garbage that we Yanks call "humor."
But what about jeff Dunham! Make america proud again.
British and it is not even close.
British is mad but so are we. Toss up.
thankyou
Most likely the British and then Americans
Kind of surprised British is leading this poll. I mean Ricky Gervais is the only British modern comedian i even know of. Do British people even laugh?
We do, as for British comedians there are plenty it seems like their just not your taste so you don't know/remember them.
Like who? Luke give me a couple big names. See if I've heard of them. I'm a bit of a comedy aficionado. If they're funny I've probably heard of them.
Just to name a few: Rowan Atkinson, Peter Kay, Diane Morgan, Richard Ayoade, Jimmy Carr, Sean Lock, John Cleese, Greg Davies, Stephen Fry, Ricky Gervais, Simon Pegg, Lenny Henry.
Rowan, John Cleese, Stephen Fry, and Simon Pegg are the only names I recognize. Rowan isn't funny. John Cleese was only funny in Monty Python and that was before you were born. Simon Pegg is only mildly funny. And Stephen Fry is only occasionally funny.
Again Gervais is the only name there I consider remotely funny. Sorry.
I disagree i saw John Cleese perform live and he is still one of the funniest people I've ever seen. Also that is your taste/opinion on what is funny or not funny rather than what the global population thinks. Its just like i don't like Taylor swifts music yet she is clearly the most successful singer of this year. It does not mean her music sucks but rather that i don't enjoy it and same goes for you and British comedy.
