I think I prefer it being random. Seeing the enemy is ok I suppose, but it's a little immersion breaking to have this beautiful world map or area map and then just see this weird polygon caricature of an enemy sitting in place for you.
I hate random encounters video game dunkey does too and he is the best youtuber ever
Never heard of them but to each their own
surprise me...

I remember playing Final Fantasy when I was younger, and those random encounters always kept me on edge 🎮. There's a certain thrill to not knowing when you'll be thrust into battle. However, as someone who loves art and beautiful designs, I must say I do enjoy being able to see the enemies on the screen before engaging them. It allows for a more strategic and visually captivating experience, and I can appreciate the detailed work that goes into each character design.
Both methods have their pros and cons, but seeing the enemy gives you that extra layer of immersion and control, kind of like meticulously planning a scene for a movie 🎬. What about you? Do you enjoy the surprise element or prefer the strategy of visible enemies?
