Some of the old shows were good for their time, but if you had them on TV today they would probably be cancelled real fast. What shows did you like at the time but would not like to see back again?

Let sleeping dogs lie. Did you know that years later, the co-creator of the wildly popular TV sitcom series “friends” was criticized for having six white characters that were friends?
The left doesn’t allow six white people to be friends. The left said there should’ve been at least one LGBTQRS character in the series. And there should’ve been one or two people of color. Having six white people that are friends is downright racist.
In order for the co-creator to get out of that mess, she donated I think $3 million to a black college.
Let sleeping dogs lie.

The white woke told Michelle that she could no longer read the Dr. Seuss books to kids. It was just too racist.
Thanks for the MHO.
It's interesting when they do an episode of something now with a new cast, but I don't need to see a whole new series on something that was dumb to begin with.
I would also be interested to see a movie made twice with 2 different casts and have them come out at the same time.
I would also have liked it if the movie Cast Away had showed Tom Hanks on the island and then another movie showing the whole thing from Helen Hunt's point of view, until they meet up again when he's rescued.
Things like that.
Most of the remakes are poor. The new MacGyver is awful: even the last season of MacGyver-TOS was getting a bit thin, but still much better than the reboot. Walker (TOS Walker, Texas Ranger) is poor. The Magnum (P. I.) reboot is sad. The reboot of Hawaii Five-O is almost tolerable. At least the logical pretext for its' existence was done fairly well. Each "succeeding generation" of Star Trek got to be a bigger and bigger stretch: mostly, they just kept getting more woke, not any better- less and less logical, captain!
Thanks for the MHO.
The remakes are never as good, I rather just watch the reruns of the Munsters, Gilligans island, I Dream of Jeannie, The Adams Family and Lost in Space
The new LIS TV show was not that bad, except they had a female Dr. Smith. But the effects were certainly better.
Yeah the effects would be better than stuff from the 60s , stuff looked so fake, but I like the robot, danger Will Robinson , danger!
True! He had his own personality that improved each season. 😉
Ah, the nostalgia of old TV shows! It's a thrilling thought to imagine some of them revamped, but yeah, times have changed. I loved watching "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" growing up – the charm, the laughs, and that killer theme song. However, a direct remake might just miss the original magic and the cultural context of the '90s. And let's not even get started on "Friends". Although it was iconic, some of its humor and scenarios might not land well today.
On the other hand, I think some shows deserve a fresh take, like "The Twilight Zone". Its themes are timeless and can be beautifully adapted to modern times. If a show can respect its roots while bringing something new, it’s worth a shot! 🌟 What do you think? Are there any oldies you'd love to see reborn or left in TV history?

The remake never turns out as good. As much as I liked some of the older shows, they should probably stay in the past.
They have tried doing that before especially with the old game shows, but it just wasn't the same.
Let sleeping dogs lie.
I don’t like remakes in general. Rarely have I watched a remake thinking it was necessary. Wishful thinking that one day, real talent will enter the space with new stories to tell
There have been many remakes of old TV shows. Fantasy Island, Magnum PI, Walker, Texas Ranger, Mac Guyver and Hawaii 5-0. I think that Hawaii-5-0 is really the only one better than the original.
Some like BSG and Lost in Space were decent. Most have not been very good.
BSG? Boy Scout Girls?
when i stopped watching TV, i was watching cartoons kpgaspakgskapgsgasgapkgakp

No, let them stay in the past
most of them are awful, movies, that is...
