Growing up in Cincinnati he was a huge part of my childhood!

I think it truly sucks that he never made it to the baseball Hall of Fame.. I think there was a lot of political bullcrap that went on and I think he just pissed off the wrong person... because for what he was basically was kicked out of baseball for I would have to say so many pro football players baseball players hockey players and basketball players..
All do the same thing to this day
They just do it in a different way
It's sad because he was one of the best baseball players in his, of his time
I don't remember exactly what it was but I know that he got 40 something votes out of 300 and something votes to get put into the Hall of Fame and I think that was great

I was a ball player as a kid and Pete Rose was an icon.

My wife is from Cincinnati. He will be forever remembered in that town.

He, Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Shoeless Joe Jackson, Curt Schilling belong in the HOF based upon their playing. Their moral failures should not preclude this, but it has become political, just like the Emmys, Oscars, Grammys, and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

One bad ass baseball player , i got thrown out of a baseball game when i played in little league because i plowed the catcher as i was crossing home plate he dropped the ball i was not allowed to play rest of game , i saw pete rose do it so i tried it

I am not a baseball fan. I know there was a scandal that resulted in him not being in the HOF, but i never heard if there was another side to that story.
