Here's an interesting story from a museum in the Netherlands.

Museum’s beer can artwork accidentally thrown in trash by staff member

“All the good times we spent together” by French artist Alexandre Lavet may look like it belongs in a trash can at first glance, but closer inspection reveals it is in fact “meticulously hand-painted with acrylics, with each detail painstakingly replicated,” the LAM Museum said in a statement earlier this month.

I think a lot of the craft beers from small breweries have interesting art work on them but the one in your example just reminds me of Andy Warhols soup cans.

Here's a confusing real beer can. Is it beer for dogs or just art?

I’ve seen some paint splatter on a canvas be worth supposedly thousands of dollars, just because someone famous did it.

I think its possible , also the empty cans could formulate period artwork and history , plus a can that marks a particular occasion or event , representing a time frame.
