Elden Ring is the best as design and script

I have to go with bloodborn here. Masterpiece from a lore perspective. Great atmosphere and level design and I really liked the playstyle. Although I wished some builds got viable earlier.

Bonus points for being one of the two souls-games I have finished myself🙈 DS1 and bloodborn.
I have watched lore recaps and lets plays for every other one.
Honorable mention: As a souls-like (not souls game) I can highly recomend another crabs treasure.

PS: if you like them there was an all souls games ( except demon souls) least hit run team challenge on "games done quick" on youtube not long ago. Two teams who each have a runner finish a game 1v1. Least hits win.

Elden Ring, but if Bloodborne had a better system for co-op and more color, that would be better than elden ring because its animation, fov, combat, and level design (linear vs open world) are better, plus spells in elden ring are too overpowered.
For pvp dark souls 3 wins, its the most balanced souls game for that.
