Mine is Magic the gathering, then more video game wise has to be Overwatch. There is plenty of other games I like but I am choosing ones that are still supported rather than older games like Halo wars or EDF 2017.

+1 yWe always loved playing Kill. Any time we'd have a family get together, the cards would come out and we'd play Kill for a few hours. If it was dad's brothers and sister that came over, we'd play penny ante poker al night.
Other than that, I love shooting pool.17 Reply- +1 y
I have a feeling it's pretty much the same as, Oh, Shit!. I learned that in high school and, a few years later, completely forgot how to play it because I hadn't done so in a few years. Most often, sitting around the pool, we'd play Hearts until, one day, the girl next door came over and told us about this game, Kill that her whole family loves and plays all the time. She taught it to us and we hardly ever played Hearts, again.
Each game has 10 hands. In the first hand, everybody gets 10 cards (if there's more than 6 people playing, everyone plays 8 cards for the first 3 hands) then, the last card on top of the deck is turned over, whatever suit that is, is trump for that hand. Then, everybody takes turns bidding on how many tricks they think they're gonna take with the hand they've got. Aces are high, then Kings, Queens, Jacks and on down the line so, you can almost always count on any of those high cards and most of your trump cards to take a trick. The person to the left of the dealer bids first. 0 CAN be a bid! Unless you enforce a rule that you HAVE to bid at least 1. Once you make your bid, you're stuck with it and can only change it if the person to your left hasn't bid yet. Dealer always bids last. The first person to bid gets to deal the next hand so, the deal moves around the table clockwise. The score keeper marks down the bids so nobody forgets or cheats. The highest bidder starts the play for that hand. Whoever takes a trick is the next one to lead. You HAVE to follow suit! Trump takes anything as long as it's the highest trump laid in that trick. And, a card laid is a card played unless the person after you hasn't played yet and. especially if it was just a mistake in that: you HAD suit in your hand and forgot it was there or just didn't see it. At the end of the first hand, everyone counts and reports how many tricks they got. Anyone that goes over or under their bid amount (we call this, going down) gets 5 points added to their score. - +1 y
The goal of the game is to get as few points as possible. You CAN easily play an entire game and end with a score of 0! I've done it quite a few times but I've also lost quite a few games with scores into the hundreds.
2nd hand, everybody gets 9 cards and the points are now 10 per each trick over or under what you bid. Next hand is 6 cards and points are 15. Every hand, you get 1 less card and the points for each trick go up 5 until the last hand where points are 50. After that, the lowest score wins.
Sometimes, just to make it interesting, we might plat it backwards: first hand everybody gets 1 card and the points are 5 or, everybody gets 10 cards and the points are 50 or, we play normally all the way down to one card and then go back up to 10. The points are normal for each hand but, I guess you COULD make each hand after the 10th 5 points more so, the last hand of 10 has points of 100. But, the final score would be astronomical! Or, start at 1, go up to 10 then back down to 1, or, every hand gets 10 cards but the points go up each hand, etc.. - +1 y
Oh I see it's a playing cards game! Can't say I have ever understood how they work for me my brain just nopes out at any sign of explanation lol
I still have no clue how blackjack works and you could tell me tons of times and I would still not know.
You give me Chess I am good I get it, you give me Trading card games yup I get those. But playing cards I don't know, I somewhat get Solitaire but every-time I think I get it I try place a queen or something that don't work there.
I don't know why my mind does that. - +1 y
I've also watched multiple poker games and yeah still have no clue how that works. Something add up to better overall value then you up the stakes but then the person can just fold? But then the person is forced not to fold otherwise they never get any of the money in the pot.
I really like the bluffing aspect but the rest just confuses to me how anyone wins that unless they go all in. - +1 y
There are other games of Solitaire. I know of at least a dozen but don't know the names of all of them. The one everybody recognizes is called, Klondike.
The two easiest games that I know of practically play themselves.
In one, you deal out 13 piles of 4 cards per pile all face down. 4 piles in each of 3 rows, the 13th pile is off to the side. You take the top card from that 13th pile and flip it over, whatever number it is, it goes face up under the pile it belongs in. Let's say it's a 6, you go to the 6th pile (the 2nd pile in the 2nd row) slip the 6 under that pile and take the top card from that pile and flip it over, let's say it's an Ace, so, you go to the 1 pile (Ace = 1 in this game) and slip it face up under there and take the top card from there, if that's a Queen, put it under the 12th pile and just keep going like that until you can't do it anymore. The goal is to get all the other cards flipped and into their correct stacks before you get all 4 kings in the 13th stack. The Queen is 12 and the Jack is 11.
In the other game, you flip the top card of the deck over and put it on the table. Flip over the next card and, if either the number or the suit matches what's on the first card, put it on top of that first card, if it doesn't match either one, put it next to the first card and flip another over. If that matches the number or suit of the 2nd card, put it on top of the 2nd card, if it doesn't, lay that next to the 2nd card. Flip another card, if that matches either the 3rd OR the first card, you can put it on either one but, let's say you put it on the first card. Now, if the 2nd card matches what is now on top of the first card in number or suit, put the 2nd card on top of the first pile and move the 3rd card over to the 2nd spot. Just keep doing this through the entire deck but, you can only play a card or pile on top of a card to the left of it OR 3 piles to the left. - +1 y
The goal is to reduce the entire line of stacks into one stack. If you do that, you win. I've done it a couple times but, mostly never get below 2 stacks.
+1 yWoW (classic WotLK/hardcore, tired of retail), Overwatch, CoDMW II&III

I played old CoDMW, but I like the remastered versions, especially that Ghost's new actor has heavenly voice :D but I don't have a strong opinion on any version, simply enjoy
Currently COD modern warfare

Wouldn't call it my favourite game by a long shot but the MP for this MW3 is fun and way better than the rubbish MW2 and MW2019. Didn't get MW2 because of how bad 2019 one was but playing the Beta of MW3 and knowing Sledgehammer made it brought me back.
Zombies and Campaign are so bad that it's on my list of the worst cods but would be least bad one as MP is great. - +1 y
I don't know people tell me who are older that I missed out on Cod due to I never played the original MW trilogy in it's prime. And I feel even more sorry for kids who are growing up now with the state cod is in, if only they knew how good it used to be.
This year will be good though and hopefully Treyarchs next title is more close to Bo3/Bo2 than Cold war... because well I didn't exactly find that the best.
And hey minecraft is great repetitive and haven't played it in a long while but it's great. Cool to see your a gamer :)

+1 yFar Cry 5.

Ooof that's a choice...
I love Far Cry 4, felt Far cry 3 was okay but not as great as people hype it up to be and Far Cry 5 well anything outside of Faith annoyed me lol.
Then they decided to try sell a game out of what should of just been in the game in the first place, New Dawn would've of been so cool as an endgame like oh you thought it was going to end here? Nope here's more! But nah they sold it as a separate game.
I have some strong feels towards Far Cry with what they did there. Still not overall bad games but felt scummy and I paid full price for 5 because I loved 4 so much and regret that big time. Now I will only buy a Far cry when it gets dirt cheap. Like still waiting until GOTY edition for 6 to be cheaper cause no doubt it will be under 20 next year.
Loved faith though she was cool, the bliss was cool though again I do think even that could've of been improved. Perhaps a mechanic of a bad ending due to overall time been in it, make it more of a deal.
Oh yeah and the biggest sin of 5 was never allowing to join the cult, they had an obvious way to create a multiple option route but didn't take it.
