None that I like have died, though if they did I probably wouldn't care.
I don't know them, and they don't know me. We are on different planets and I have no clue what their life was like, what they did or how they acted.

I usually do not care about celebrities. However former Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield has died of Cancer about a year ago. He was the ultimate team player and was an important part of the legendary 2004 World Series championship team. He also worked for many charities and was chairman of the Red Sox Foundation. And was nominated several times for the Roberto Clemente Award.

Wakefield died at age 57. He was the real deal.
