Have you ever been paid to do a survey?

I used to use those survey apps that would pay you for taking surveys.

Most of them would just pay you 25 - 50 cents.

but every once in a while I would come across a cool survey that would pay me $20.

one time I was paid $20 to watch an episode of a new show before it came out and give my thoughts on it.

I was also sent a bottle of body wash and was paid $20 to review it.

And another time I was paid $15 to go to Dunkin to try a new drink and give my thoughts. ($15 plus I was reimbursed for the cost of the drink)

I haven’t used that app in years but I was just sent an email by Instagram saying they would pay me $200 to do a 75 minute video call survey on my thoughts of their META AI feature.

i signed up but i doubt they’re gonna pick me to participate because i don’t really use the AI feature like that lol

Years ago we were regular contributors to a survey group. We were "secret shoppers", and really got quite good at remembering all the details of cleanliness of area/bathrooms, speed of service where needed, presence/absence of an intro greeting, (if a restaurant) the temp and taste of the food, follow-up on how we were doing, etc. We'd get a meal/product reimbursement plus a fee. We shopped restaurants mostly (mostly decent or better reviews), but also did a couple of department stores (varied, especially on speed of assistance as we "floundered around") and even bought a pair of glasses at the optical shop in a big-box store (they got a bad review). I wish they would have done one with a car!

Yeah I got something in the mail asking me to do a survey and had one dollar bill in it and they said I think it had 20 questions and fill it out send it in and they would send me 20 bucks and I did it and they did what they said

I've used a ton of survey sites over the years and the one that's worked the best for me is Branded Surveys. The point system is decent and it doesn't take long to receive your payout. It still has its bugs, but customer support is pretty good with reimbursements. E-Poll is a decent site too, but you don't get daily surveys, it's more random. But you can usually rush through the surveys and you won't get penalized for it.

I did a lot of surveys years ago. They weren’t very rewarding. Some surveys were quite long but paid little. So, no more.
