I used to be such an optimistic person I see the kindness in most everyone or at least believed a bit of kindness would help them bring a bit of that out but while in some rare cases that’s true I don’t believe it’s the majority at least that’s how I feel now.

Truthfully I don't know why actually I know why I thought like this are media much of the times is very optimistic in nature our movies to tv shows and the main character always has the unrealistically golden retriever type of heart I think i unintentionally adopted a lot of those belief watching these charters from a young age.

But something I’ve learned is it serves you to hurt being a kind person more than anything I mean even these character we paint as Nobel or hero’s in fiction a lot of the time while they do good for others they do not get the same treatment in return actually a lot of the time they have the shittiest lives.

Even in reality a lot of the time being really nice gets you cucked more than anything even believing in god and following the Bible or religion it’s sad that your supposed to get rewarded but at best all that reward comes at the end of your life what’s the point if you won’t even be alive to enjoy it.

I was wondering where this was coming from and then you mentioned the bible. If you’re currently attending church, I can see why you would feel alienated from the secular world at large. The church is designed to make you feel like they’re the only place you can be this person, that the church is the last stronghold of human kindness and decency, it’s something to help reinforce a lot of the ideas that keep you going. There’s nothing wrong with christianity itself, it’s a great religion, but power has also thoroughly corrupted many churches to the point they often stray from the messages of Christ without realizing it in an effort to maintain what power they have over their congregation.


The world is a place, full of people who do good and bad things. That doesn’t mean everyone is inherently evil at their core like the church says, what you see online is obviously not who these people are in reality. I hope you find it in you to become optimistic and gain your faith in humanity again.

Not saying the world is black and white well in most cases and this largely has nothing to do with the Bible that’s just an example I gauge of a widow know piece of literature that shows the examples of good and bad and what that mean for certain individuals.

And from what I’ve seen good or bad your life really isn’t the best that you asked to give up something impossible to get to the sorta good parts.

Then there’s the topic of social media people say what you see on social media isn’t a representation of real life and honestly I disagree I think that’s a very ignorant statement to make.

What we see online is usually just a more dramatized. Interpretations of what’s going on in the world at large.

I dating for example it’s in the toilet many people acknowledge this fact now but if been saying for years dating was shit on this site and on other sites. But many people have push back many people called me stuff like incel or said what you see online isn’t a rep of real life experiences.

But now everyone thinks dating shit and that fake rep we all see online is the real deal.

Just because it’s from the internet doesn’t mean it doesn’t reflect what’s going on in the world at large is my point although my argument had nothing to do with the internet this is just what I’ve observed in real life and in my personal life as well as any media from comics to video games to tv shows to social media.

I will agree to disagree. I think a lot of what we do online is acting on our shadow selves, it’s a psychological term for the traits we consider to be the worst parts of who we are and often suppress. Traits like the need for attention, the desperation for praise, the anger at the world, the selfishness, etc. and the online space allows us to interact with that part of ourselves and indulge in it. I wouldn’t call it a “dramatization” as much as maybe magnified, but we can be our worst selves online to little real-world consequences. It’s also very inaccurate to how these people will interact with you in reality.
