What's the most "rewatchable" TV series of all time?

I couldn't narrow it down to one - not even close. At best, there are two major categories:
Serialized shows (shows with long, multi-episode or even multi-season story arcs)
Episodic shows (most sitcoms, and any other show where the stakes are usually reset at the beginning of the next episode).
The BEST TV shows in my opinion are serialized shows. The Shield, Breaking Bad, the first 5 seasons of Game Of Thrones, Yellowstone, etc. These really need to be watched in order, because important plot points develop over entire seasons, and you'll be missing big pieces of the puzzle if you jump around.
That said, there's lot of great episodic TV that you CAN just jump in at any episode and get full enjoyment out of it. Friends, Seinfeld, Scrubs, House, MASH, Star Trek, etc. Most episodes are fairly self-contained, so even if there is a season-long arc, it's usually not especially important to keep up with it, and some shows barely have any arcs beyond the individual episodes.
The best shows were planned out with an outline of the entire series, and were allowed to be completed. That's why The Shield and Breaking Bad were so great: they had great endings that paid off your entire investment into the show. So many shows, even great ones, go off the rails, either because there was no outline for the entire series, or because a show-runner left the show, or because the show was canceled before it was allowed to finish its outline (or was extended beyond it's planned ending).
Seinfeld , scrubs , breaking bad , game of thrones , mash , only fools and horses , faulty towers
When it comes to rewatchable TV series, "Friends" is a timeless favorite for many people 😂. Its humor, relatable characters, and nostalgic feel provide endless entertainment. Another highly rewatchable series is "The Office" because of its unique comedic style and iconic characters 🏢. For fantasy lovers, "Game of Thrones" is a captivating choice. Each of these series offers a unique charm that makes revisiting them a delightful experience.

I watch Seinfeld all the time. I also like a show called the Beverly Hillbillies lol My dad used to watch reruns when I was little but I never really got the humor but now I do and I think the creator's were comedic geniuses.
I also watch it from time to time as a comfort show - was on free tv, now Netflix : still watch it there even I discovered recently
it's difficult to watch anything again and again but there's plenty of stcoms that had 9 plus seasons i'll say seinfeld

Scrubs
The Witcher... I LOVE that series... very entertaining and action-filled.
I agree with another user who said, Breaking Bad... that series is too good. a lot of laughs, action, and drama.
toss a COIN to your witcha
O' VALUE OF PLENTY
O' VALUE OF PLENTYY
OOOOHHHH WOOAAH
@MemeSupreme I'm tossing more than a coin to that sexy man lol...
For me its " Breaking Bad " if that counts as a series.
If I have to chose only one, I vote for Seinfeld.

All In The Family
Cough wouldn't you rather the more hilarious and updated Married with Children Cough or even failing that Modern Family
Can you relate to the middle aged man?
I'll go back to my man-cave then lol ππ lol I know when the comments section don't want mah replies hahahahahaha π
As a Trekkie, I can watch, and have watched, all of the different Star Trek series and episodes at least twice. Some 4 or 5 times... I have my favorites.
DS9: House of Quark, Crossfire, Soldiers of the Empire. If I'm in the mood, In the Pale Moonlight
Enterprise: The Entire 3rd and 4th Seasons
@QuietRunner DS9 is one (exactly that episode)...
@QuietRunner Enterprise Carbon Creek is my all-time favorite episode. The thought of three Vulcans living among humans without bring detected, and passing on the secret of Velcro, is both interesting and funny. As T'pol tells Archer and Trip at the end of the episode, "You asked me to tell you a story".
@AviatorTom
that is a better one from Season Two and I can watch that again.
@QuietRunner @AviatorTom Have you watched Picard? I just finished the second season, and it's very well done, in my opinion.
@QuietRunner You have to suspend disbelief and critical thinking for quite a lot of it.
"If that's the new past, then the people who created that new path wouldn't have experienced what they did and create that new past..."
I guess it's just nice to see old "friends".
@AviatorTom Season 3 is sitting on my shelf...
I still can't get that song from series 2 out of my head!
Do you have a song that just keeps running through you head? β
"Live long and prosper!"
- Spock
After Life is the only TV series I have enjoyed in the past 10 years.
Sitcom - Seinfeld, Married With Children, Scrubs.
Sci-Fi: Star Trek, Stargate, X-Files
Fantasy: Game Of Thrones, Stranger Things, Once Upon A Time
Horror: The Walking Dead, Grimm, The Vampire Diaries
I don't like series, but i guess that i'll pick "stargate" and "1st wave"
@TonyMetal___86 What series would you pick as rewatchable that you do like?
@Caroline91 i have named them up there...
But if we are talking about series from any genre, i'd like to watch star trek the next generation and star trek voyager π
Also i'd like to watch all the series aired on the history 2 channel and some of the series on the discovery science channel π
What about you miss @Caroline91 ?
@TonyMetal___86 I shouldn't stay up so late... lol. It makes me read things wrong and my brain takes a wrong turn. I read your answer as you didn't like those series, but watched them anyway... lol. I thought it was a bit odd of you. Turns out, it was odd of me!
After the Avonlea series, I would have to say "The Real TonyMetal__86 Show". It's an action genre series about this really cool dude with all kinds of super abilities and talents... Kind of like Superman on steroids!. I think you would really relate to it.
@Caroline91 haha, and catwoman caroline is his secret agent ππ
I'm just an ordinary guy, i have no super powers π
@TonyMetal___86 Maybe you should take a look at your profile again... Looks pretty super to me! My mouth dropped when I read it the first time.
@Caroline91 thank you sweet lady, the only two people who have super powers in my opinion are your little two birds because they made love them so much without even seeing them π
@TonyMetal___86 I guess that's why you're Uncle Tony. lol
@Caroline91 πΆπ» π πΆπΌ
Any show which has a buxom blonde leading lady !!!
Wouldn't you rather a busty brunette woman lol pale
@NicholasRedone Or a busty brunette;it's her bra size, not her hair colour which appeals to this old Canadian boy.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
The Walking Dead, Magnificent Century, Bridgerton, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Breaking Bad.
Mayfair Witches , The Librarians, Lazarus Project, Rick&Morty, Charmed, Supernatural, Yellowstone, and Ed Edd N Eddy,
For me it would have to be SATC.
To me that's ''the IT crowd'' for now.
Cheers and Seinfeld. Period!
@dongie Yes to both! I think MASH out to get thrown in here, too. It was epic.
The Canadian series Road to Avonlea
The XFiles
Northern Exposure
Black Sails
Seinfeld or Southpark 😋😅
Or Simpsons or Family Guy or Futurama : probably Seinfeld
Game of throne
MASH, the Sopranos
For me it's The Sopranos.
I enjoy NCIS tend to watch a lot on Hulu.
The Sopranos.
Bojack Horseman
That horse knew the daily life struggles and triumphs π
He was also the villain and never really got better until he got sober
Even he started hitting the bottle lol π hard πΎ lol - I for one don't drink. Ah well. I barely watched an episode or two. There was a precursor show that was wild I've forgotten it now - parody of big brother where these housemates, a hero, a talking pig, a princess, a foxy woman literally,
And Betty boo looked out of place on the show. Washed up celebrities lol π show cartoon of the 2010s
The show youβre thinking of is Drawn Together, and itβs shit compared to the very intense and detailed character writing of Bojack Horseman
I'll just mind myself here :) π
vampire diaries
MASH.
The sopranos
Doctor Who
