I could have easily picked a few banal pop/rap or country songs, but that would have been too obvious coming from me. I might do a pop one at another time. For now, here are some rock tunes I have always hated.

Oh, none of those compared to this song...
I could not believe that this was a hit song in 1993 during the height of grunge. Thank God, in the decades since, people came to their senses and realized this is among the worst songs of all time.
That song is "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" by the Crash Test Dummies.
It was played so often that there was no escape on any rock station from this song. You'd listen to one station and it comes on, so you flip to a different station and, not 10 minutes later, it's now on that station, so you go back to the original station... and 20 minutes later, they're playing it again!
It was a living Hell... a form of aural torture.

Retrospective reception
Although highly successful when it was released, "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" has since been frequently included on lists of bad songs. The song was number 15 on VH1's 50 Most Awesomely Bad Songs Ever, named by Rolling Stone as the "15th Most Annoying Song",[20] and ranked at number 31 on Blender's list of the "50 Worst Songs Ever".[21] The Huffington Post Canada ranked this song at number 29 on its list of "50 Worst Canadian Songs Ever".[22] Contrasting, VH1 named "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" as the 31st greatest one-hit wonder of the 1990s in 2011.[23]
In a 1994 essay in which he makes the case that modern life is better than life in the past, humorist P. J. O'Rourke writes, "Even the bad things are better than they used to be. Bad music, for instance, has gotten much briefer. Wagner's Ring Cycle takes four days to perform while 'Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm' by the Crash Test Dummies lasts little more than three minutes."[24]
HOWEVER, of those listed, it's clearly "Sweet Child of Mine" which is up there with "Mmm" in terms of being annoying and it's not even close compared to the other songs listed. W. Acid Indigestion, the lead singer of Tums 'n' Rolaids... uh, sorry, W. Axl Rose, the lead singer of Guns 'n' Roses... sings like a cat in a blender.
1.- Hotel California...
2.- Every Rose Has Its Thorn
3.- anything Nickelback has ever done... straight torture camp
Definitely Born in the USA. Immediately change radio stations when it comes on.
This one makes me want to puke!

I rarely get annoyed by any music, but of the choices in the poll, the Beastie Boys is more like screaming than music.
I love all those songs.
It isn't rock but the song that annoys me is Footloose.
Born in the USA is brilliant political satire. Pay attention to the lyrics. It's not a patriotic song.
I like some of his songs covered by others, but I really do not enjoy Springsteen at all. So of these, him
Of those it is Bruce Springsteen. But overall anything by Rage Against the Machine.
How dare you put Born in the USA on that list! The Boss is a legend that doesn't miss! "Scoffs"
None of the above. It's anything by Avril Lavigne.
Don't stop believing
First recall the glee version which was awful enough but the it rounds out the Sopranos and I hate it even more
Anything by Def Leppard.
