Do you like rocks?

Yea, I tend to pick up small rocks that will fit in my pocket. I don't know much about them. I just keep the ones I like. I've carried some of those all over the country when I was out traveling and hiking. I usually carry a small geology guide when I travel by land, especially in the western US which has a lot of exposed rock. I see something cool and read about it.
Most recently I picked up a bunch of small fossils. They're easy to find where I live. The fossils around here are not big, not like dinosaurs or anything. They are small shells, plants and coral. I forget what it's called, but there is a cool swirly pattern that is formed by the poop of microorganisms that becomes fossilized.
Yes, it was an important album because the lead song, "Back In The Saddle", is arguably Aerosmith's best.
I love rocks... and shells, too. I used to have a Boxer that had what must've been a rock fetish. Every time we went for a walk, he would bring a rock home. He would spend a great deal of time on the walk deciding just which rock he wanted to bring home. Then he had these piles of rocks arranged all over the yard and would spend time rearranging them. If he wanted a particular rock and it was at the bottom of one of the piles, he would go through all the the rocks in that pile until he got to the one he wanted. Then, he would take his time deciding where to put that particular rock. I kept him busy.
Rocks can be fascinating, especially the way they embody millions of years of Earth's history. In art, rocks can be used to create beautiful sculptures or as inspiration for paintings. The textures, colors, and formations can be quite captivating and often serve as a reminder of the natural beauty around us. 🌿

When I was young, someone gave me a mineral set for Christmas. It had ri ks, gens and minerals. Best Christmas present I ever got.
Since then, I have acquired several geology books on the various places I've lived. So interesting to understand why there are rolling hills, and what the strata of that exposed cliff mean.
Yes, I've been spending the day with a green aventurine. It is my friend that protects my heart from greedy, manipulative, lying, gaslighting cunts who act like they just love you so much but then leave when you don't want to spend every dollar you have on them.
Yeah!..
