Obviously, I live a Ground Zero for Southern rock. I have been in the studio where Lynyrd Skynyrd rehearsed before they were famous. I know where The Jug is located ("I was cutting the rug, down at a place called The Jug. . .")

I am not a rabid fan of the genre but I have an appreciation for the music.

In addition to having many Southern Rock LPs from individual groups, years ago I picked up a compilation CD of Southern Rock from Target. Target used to sell those types of CDs.

It's my favorite Southern Rock CD, as it has the best of many different groups.

To a degree. I can listen to it if it's one but, I don't exactly make special trips to buy any of play any. I've got a few albums of it from the `70's but haven't played any of them since shortly after I bought them. 2 or 3 Allman's, the first Outlaws, one or two Lynard Skynards. That's just about it.
