I saw them in 82 at Shreveport. They were very good. Especially Edward.

Dave hadn't quite weirded out yet.

Some jerk hit Roth with a bicycle lighter. He almost snapped as he immediately saw where it came from. They were a bit back of us and just left of center from stage observation as we were just right of center. The guy was maybe 25 to 30 feet from us. But Dave composed laughed and informed the guy that he was going to fuck his girlfriend after the show.

The live album Live Killers comes closest other than bootlegs that are of such poor audio quality they’re not worth listening to, to the concert I saw. It was the same stage but Freddie wore an outfit I’ve never seen before or since in any photo and they included songs from the Game album

The best performance I saw has to be Aerosmith on comeback with the Permanent Vacation tour. They did all their stuff from the 70s and smashed the hell from it. Oddly enough, in 03, they were a huge disappointment. I dubbed it. Dude sings to the Lady. In Dallas. But thankfully, KISS burned it down and easily is the second best (close to 1st) performance I've seen. They were back in make-up and were stellar. Peter Criss sat in a wooden chair front and center for Beth while the rest were off stage. He finished with a "thank you Houston". 😅 Stanley sauntered back on stage laughing and said, "he's joking, guys. He knows we're in DALLAS".
