What's the greatest episode of television you've ever watched?

I would have to go with Buffy the Vampire Slayer The Gift Season 5 Episode 22.

Spoiler Alert:

It's the episode where she sacrifices herself to save the world, well again but it was where a lot of fans think the show should have ended because it was a nice ending to the series.

I personally liked that it went on because we wouldn't have gotten Once More With Feeling in season 6. One of the best episodes besides the Gift.

Once More With Feeling was such a solid musical episode and arguably one of the better portrayals of depression and struggling with mental issues of all kinds we've seen.

I'd probably remember something better if I thought about it for a while but for now I'll piggyback your mention. Time to listen to Giles singing again I suppose, good pipes on that one.

I don't watch a lot of TV to be honest but one that always stuck with me was the episode Jurassic Bark from Futurama. Sure it's a cartoon but it's such a sad episode which was a change of pace for the show itself.

Before buffy did smack down on vampires, Wonder Woman saved everyone with her... bullet deflecting bracelets and stern confidence.

Now I married "Wonder Woman", and she does a lot of deflecting... and a lot of saving, when not sleeping.

The City on the Edge of Forever Season 1 Episode 28 of the Original Star Trek series when Dr McCoy accidently goes back in time and causes a catastrophe that ends the world, Kirk and Spock have to go back and look for him and fix whatever it was that he did. Joan Collins guest starred in this episode. It is a classic.
