I think most were sexually abused. You hear allegations from Nick and Disney all the time among others. As well as the whole scandal of Jeanette McCurdy allthe things she went through.

Also most of these shows were questionable at best…. I remember as a teen being disgusted at the shows a lot of other kids watched.

Perhaps. It is also the "You are the greatest thing ever." drilled into them till they aren't. That can mess with the mind of anyone, especially a child. Also for every Bill Mumy and Ron Howard, whose parents were wise with their earnings, there are 100 kids who get fleeced, so they are no longer loved by everyone but are also broke.

Seems to be a case that Jewish girls aren't targeted.

But yeah mental and sexual abuse from those around the facilitated by their parents. Pressured to work as children for long hours every day, given access to alcohol and drugs at a young age.

Basically they are passed around by producers, directors, investors etc.
