Why is every movie with Henry Cavill bad?

I liked MI: Fallout and The Man from Uncle... I think everything else he's been in (that I've seen) has been bad, but not usually because of him.

For starters, I think Cavill has a terrible agent or agents. There have been more than a few projects he shouldn't have taken in the first place but maybe due to a sense of commitment he stuck them out. He also clearly has greater passions than acting, since he has said in interviews that he has missed auditions because he was painting or playing games.

There is a lot of demand for him to take lead roles in projects like James Bond or anything Warhammer 40K related, but the thing is, he's never actually had a proper breakout starting role. The argument would be made for Superman, but despite being a good casting pick, those were terrible movies (similar problem for most DC movies in the last decade+), and the Hollywood culture refuses to acknowledge when the problem is anything other than the actors or some make belief bigotry argument - in other words, it's anyone but themselves who must be out of touch. Furthermore, whenever he's involved in a project that he has a lot of knowledge about (like The Witcher), he more often than not knows the source material better than the show writers and director, who tend to be more interested in inserting their own messaging than doing a faithful adaptation. This causes an inevitable butting of heads, and the movie industry is so laughably corrupt that even one "infraction" let alone a track record can permanently kill or hamper a career.

They should make movies with only white characters or hot Asian women, so that right-wing white men won't complain. Maybe there's truth in the claim that right-wingers are prejudiced. Any movie with LGBT or black characters causes controversy among right-wing whites. I can name dozens of new and original stories that have been and are being attacked by right-wingers. But of course, racism and homophobia are things that right-wingers are incapable of doing...

I really did not kike him as Superman. He looks like he has a mean streak in him that made me believe that he would absolutely take out a whole platoon of soldiers by vaporizing them with his heat vision.

I think so too. I forgot what movie it was. Oh it might've the last Mission Impossible. But anyways, he totally sucked. His acting was so bad and annoying and he ruined the whole movie.

@KostasKouvalis That was the one I was thinking about when I writed my opinion, in Mission impossible he was far from good, he was just really basic like you could have put any other actor and it would have been the same, I was really disappointed by his performance into it. And to be honest I don't even think he was a great Clark Kent, he's good for the superman part but not the Clark Kent part.

His part definitely sucked he was so basic, I think they took him because he was really popular after Superman movie but yeah he was not good at all into it, as a generally rule I think they mostly take him because he's a popular actor and seen as attractive by many but his acting is mid at best.

@KostasKouvalis I think she's pretty good though, maybe it depend on the movie but like in the Ice Skating movie I found her really good and she wasn't bad either in Harley Quinn role.
Guess she was a bit bland in Wolf of Wall Street but from what I remember the movie was a bit boring / weird.

@KostasKouvalis I think I only seen him in his roles as Superman, The Immortals, and Misson Impossible.. I've seen clips of The Witcher.. He's good with physicality, but I do think he's overhyped.. He shouldn't have been the villain for MI, but stayed the side kick.. The Scene where he crashed out in Man of Steel showed me that he does has potential for a memorable performance.
