Is it disingenuous for artist to lip sync during a live performance/concert?

Wings of Pegasus did a deep dive on Taylos Swift lip syncing on her Eras Tour and thought it would be interesting to get everyone's opinions on artist lip syncing during live performances/concerts.

True for many fans, but some fans attend her concert to see her sing. I perfectly understand the difficulty in singing live, I know Queen, parts of some of their songs they couldn't sing live and had to play a recording, but they were up front about it and would leave the stage till the recording was done playing.

she's a pop artist... they are going for the experience of a show, not for her "singing live skills"

It's absolutely dishonest. It also demonstrates lack of talent.
It's easy to do multiple takes into a microphone in a studio and use auto tune and effects to get the vocal you want for a recording. But only a true vocalist can go out and perform live night after night.
