Why do people say the MCU's bad since Endgame when they've always had the occasional hiccup?

So it's been no secret that the MCU hasn't been as epic since phase 3 came to a close. However one thing people say is that before Endgame it was smash hit after smash hit and since Endgame it's been complete garbage. The reality though is that the signs have always been there. For example The Incredible Hulk from 2008 is often regarded as the forgotten MCU movie. Then you've got the fake Mandarin in Iron Man 3. Then you've got Inhumans which is regarded as the worst live action superhero tv show of all time. And then there's Thor: The Dark World which Chris Hemsworth wasn't a fan of. And of course Captain Marvel is the only hated movie of Phase 3. And yet people only seem to talk about the negatives since Endgame. Why is that

I think that's mainly due to the fact that the only positive hiccup post-endgame was Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and most of the duds prior to Endgame are considered better than the average post-Endgame production.

Making the distinction with Endgame is also primarily looking at box office numbers, and just the fact that it marks the end of an era. In terms of quality, the MCU peaked sometime between Captain America 2 & 3 and went downhill from there due to complacency and a shift towards activism over entertainment. This is also where a lot of the people who built the foundation of success either left the company, or got promoted out of direct roles. Everyone talks about the wokeness, but in truth the complacency issue is a huge problem: Disney has maintained an attitude that claims entitlement that every MCU movie should make a billion dollars at the box office, as proven by these absurd budgets (the real budgets, not the fake ones their press shills claim) that can't possibly turn a worthwhile profit without surpassing at least ~$750,000,000. In large part because of the streaming era, they don't have a choice other than to make this content at a much lower budget, which among other things, means they need to stop hiring big name actors and having bloated (and corrupt) studios.
