Has anyone else seen the new movie Novocaine?

It hs already become one of my favorites! I went to see it in theaters this weekend. It was amazing! A little disturbing since I’ve dealt with a similar situation yet felt all the pain that he couldn’t. Anyways, I loved every bit of it…. Well thats once the robbery started. It starts off like a rom com but once the kidnapping and action begins, its hilarious! My mom said “I felt he put up more of a fight than Tom Holland as Spiderman, despite him getting beat just as bad as Tom in spiderman”. That shit tripped me out 🤣 I know Jack Quaid is the son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan and this is the first time I’ve just really paid attention to him as a standout actor. But man it was amazing. Too bad Dave Bautistas “Killers Game” didn't turnup good like this. I wonder if that movie “Love Hurts” ended up being good? #FeelFreeToList #MovieMadness #FilmFanatic

Also it is extremely painful to watch how much and how badly he gets physically hurt. So i hope you can handle gory and sadistic shit like in those SAW films! But this ones just more of a comedy rather than a horror torture

No, I haven't seen it.. It wasn't on my "must watch" list, and still isn't.. I might watch one day if I feel at least somewhat drawn to it.. I think the concept interesting but it makes me cringe in a "Damn that doesn't look like it'll turn out well" type of way..

It turned out amazing. 9/10 hilarious. Took away a point because its a little slow the first 20 mins

Yeah I saw it this weekend too with my bestie! Hands down best movie I've seen so far in 2025. He's also good in Companion but this beats it by far.

This is the only film i’ve seen in 2025 so far. I was supposed to go see Last Breath, Love Hurts, and Captain America but things came up. Love Hurts looks good. Captain America doesn't but i wanna see red Hulk. Last Breaths trailer looked disappointing but i love Finn and Simu so i’ll eventually watch

Yeah I seen him in that and The Boys which he is awesome in. If you like superhero stuff you should check out the Boys. It's on Amazon Prime. He's also in the movie Companion which came out in January 2025 which is decent but not as good as Novocaine. If you like sci-fi thriller that's starts off like a romance movie you might like it.

I've owned the first 2-3 seasons of The Boys for years but keep forgetting to check it out. I’ve only seen the first episode. I love Karl Urban and Laz Alonso in movies so was only gonna tune in for them. But i saw the first episode with my grandpa and we were disturbed by the unnecessary sexual stuff. Thats definitely not a superhero show to watch with the fam lmao
