here's THE SHORT TRAILER TO AVOID MAJOR SPOILERS #NoSpoilers#FeelFreeToList #Uncharted
The Uncharted Series of PS4 games 🎮 are absolutely epic, and attempting to create a live action movie that reflects the experiences of the game is pretty well not possible. The game itself is a cinematic experience with amazing graphics. Each character is modeled after a person and the voice actors bring their characters to life. Their facial expressions are like motion captured, as are their movements and much of what goes into stuff like making action sequences like as in film.
That being said I really like Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg and Antonio Banderas as actors. Tom and Mark no where near align with the characters of Nathan Drake and Sully. They're good looking, but switching the game to a prequel still does not match. In the game you get to experience what is what like when he was younger and growing up as well as when he first met Sully.
All this being said I will see the movie, I feel I will enjoy it; however I cannot go into it expecting it to be like the games. If they did want to do a movie they should have chosen Nathan Fillion and mirrored the game much closer staying true to the heart of the character's are. He was a part of a short film that can be found on YouTube and it is really well done.
Naughty Dogs makes amazing games that are already like a movie, difference is that you're able to join the experience.
I am looking forward to the 'Last of Us" Television Series on HBO Max. First off TV Series are more often able to do things that movies cannot fit into a short span of a couple or few hours. The show I believe has one of the largest budgets ever, more than Game of Thrones. I think they're working really hard to really make it successful to both fans and those who have never seen it. The first game is amazing. It was groundbreaking and rose to be one of the greatest games of all time. The 2nd game is an absolute masterpiece, even though it bothered many who played it. It too was groundbreaking in that it was am absolutely emotional experience and hard to play at times. That being said I believe the writers achieved what they wanted to and stayed true to their vision.
I take it you didn't read my paragraph above nor the updates where i mentioned that ๐คฃ but yea Fillions youtube clip is only 10 mins and makes you laugh more than the first hour of the Uncharted movie. I enjoyed the second hour of the film at least
It's a maybe I have played all the Uncharted games and even the one with just the girls. I also played the PlayStation handheld versions. I rather have Nathan Fillion just cause I think he looks like Nathan Drake and he is a better fit. I feel Tom Holland might be okay but I keep thinking of Spider-Man when I see him and I don't think Mark Wahlberg is a good pick for being Sully even though I think Mark Wahlberg is a badass. I just remember seeing Nathan Fillion being in a short film if him being Drake and he played perfectly with the witting and shit talking comments and those fight scenes wasn't bad either.
Tom did good. Mark was a horrible poc and hardly in the film compared to
tom and tati.
I go check it out when I have the day off but I probably being going alone cause no one wants to see it.
Oh. I didn't see the other options, lol.
But I already watched it yesterday
It was alright. I'm more of a horror movie type.
Yea check my update and tell me if you agree
Yeah, for me I'd rate it like a 4/10 lol.
My friend is a marvel fan and loves spiderman so I pretty much watched it for him, lol.
I didn't care too much for the acting and I wanted the characters to have a little more depth. If they make a second one with his brother i think that one would be more interesting.
Yes but i need someone other than Mark Wahlberg and Sophia was annoying too
Yes he was so unnecessary and antonio banderas deserved more screentime than him
I didn't hear of this until now. Antonio Banderas is in it? I don't need to watch the trailer. I'm in! 😍
Haha yes!!

FUGGGGGGG no! Absolutely not! And Adventures of Tin Tin? Gross! Like what Joe Budden said, that movie is a two pack of ass! It stinks! 😂
https://www.youtube.com/embed/murk6bZszysI know you're only into it because you're a Tom Holland fangirl.
But if you want a GOOD and authentic Uncharted movie, watch the Nathan Fillion fan film instead.
Or hell, just watch Bat In The Sun's version of Nathan Drake vs Lara Croft.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/nqu1CEy8M4gIm not a tom holland fangirl at all. The kids cute like a little bro because i grew up watching him in the Impossible. I had nonidea he was the same age as me until i googled it. I watched for Antonio Banderas but he and Mark hardly even got screentime
And how dare you talk about my baby Tin Tin. Lmao fall back
@DizzyDesii
I know; you want to fight Zendaya for his heart. But you're afraid she will crush you, like King Kong.

You sound silly. I just said Tom looks like a kid to me. I like him already in that little brother type way. I've loved zendaya since Shake It Up. Im happy theyre together and respect their relationship. I adore them. But even though theyre both my age. They look like little kids. So i just watched your clip and Omg i slightly regret not finishing Castle. Just this 10 min was better than the first 45 mins of the actual Uncharted movie i saw last night ๐ญ I laughed more than twice on this (unfortunately only twice last night). Nathan Fillion actually is funny and they got the blind man from Dont Breathe to Play Sully. Brooo im cryin. Fillion did more than mark wahlberg the whole movie. He shouldve played Sully at least (if not Drake)
I was planning on watching the movie until I saw a review by a very trustworthy person that I know. Basically he said that "Tom Holland who's 25 looks 17 and Nathan Drake who's obviously in his late 30s or Early 40s is not the perfect character for Tom Holland. On the other Hand , Sully didn't get much time and Mark Wahlberg wasn't a good casting decision for Sully. It would've been better if they did a flashback scene of Nathan and Sully , like 10-15 years back in time. TH and MW would've been a better pick for that specific scene , but overall , it was just not working from the Casting POV." Now this review is why I'm not watching the movie. NGL , I like Tom Holland's acting but the character should be in the same age-range of TH.
Yes exactly! Tom looked like a kid. Mark was horrible for sully and they couldve cut all his scenes. This was much better

My SO and I will probably watch it next week. We saw the trailer when we saw The Kings Man last month. We both like Mark Wahlberg and it looks interesting.
Im not crazy about Mark but im all for Tom and Antonio. But i do like Marks films Fear, Lone Survivor and Pain & Gain.
Was the Kings Man better than Kingsmen?
The Kings Man was a prequel to The Kingsmen, showed how the agency started. I wouldn't say iyt was better or worse, just different.
Most likely and with Tom Holland hell yeah I'll definitely be watching it 😏😅
I adored him in The Impossible and In thhe Heart of the Sea so i look forward to ut
Watching, yes
Do I expect a movie on an mature lvl, no
Bc Antonio Banderas lost his "how do I not act like in a movie for 10yo"
He was the bomb back in 4 rooms... but somewhere when he went over 50, he flinched and is now just a shadow of what he was as actor
It was on a mature level honestly but all the younger people got more screentime. It just wasn't worth watchin in the movies. And yea Antonio and Mark were missing throughout a lot of the film
Yes, but only because of a familiar face - the black actress with short hair whom I know from "The 100" where she was the Flamekeeper and daughter of Indra.
Note to the touchy snowflakes reading this: I don't mean any racial insult by saying "black", I just don't know the actress' name, that's all.
Was she on season 1? Cause i stopped watchin after hat
Movies that are based on a video game suck. There has never been a good movie based on a video game, they are all terrible. So am gonna pass this one too. (Free guy) is about gaming cult, not based on a video game which is different
They said the film just kinda shared the same name and gave the games voice actor a cameo but its hardly based on the game. Just felt like Spiderman 4 or 5 tbh
We will see.
No guys like this? Come on! It can't be that bad. I'm going to see it.
Theyre probably disappointed its not like the game. But i wanna see it
Same. It came out today
I look forward to it. Im trying to see it tomorrow afternoon
Check my updates
Also i just watched this 2018 fanmade clip and Omg i slightly regret not finishing Castle. Just this 10 min was better than the first 45 mins of the actual Uncharted movie i saw last night ๐ญ I laughed more than twice on this (unfortunately only twice last night). it looks like a lot of fun. I eat before I go to the theater as the theater food is way too pricy to even consider it. and I go for the afternoon matinee too.
I tried eating before the movie but i felt too sleepy and full to enjoy. Its just best to take snacks in
what do you take in for snacks?
Chips/salsa, popcorn, skittles, fast food burgers, etc. Only thing i buy from the theater is the ticket and beverages
how do you fit them all in your pockets? the theaters search any backpacks or bags, they say they are searching for explosives and guns but I think they are really searching for snacks. the beverages are really expensive at the theater too.
Yea i pay $7 for a beverage lol. And always go in the movies with cargoes or jackets that have inner pockets
7 dollars is a lot for a drink. you could have a bottle of water in the pockets too. The cargo jacket looks handy so do the cargo pants. too bad you get sleepy if you eat before the movie.
I'm going to close my account here as I had people telling me on here they will kill me and my parents for my being gay and that gays are not allowed on this site. I get the same on other sites and i got to close all the sites I'm on so my parents won't have to deal with it after I'm dead. no point in living any longer. my boyfriend killed himself from all the anti-gay bullying he got and I'm ready to join him in the afterlife.
I was never into the games but the movie looks so good, definitely giving it a watch.
I never heard of the game until i heard of the movie ๐
I will. I am a Mark Wahlberg fan. I grew up near Marky Mark. I have his accent. Now that I live in The South, I have to conceal it so I can "pass".
Mark and Antonio were missing throughout a lot of the film. I wonder were they filming other stuff at the same time.
I spent too much money on movies last year wonโt repeat this year cause theaters are too expensive I mean come one they like charge 20 bucks for snacks and stuff just outrageous and disgusting
Every snack in my theater was like $10. A regular bottle of water even
Yeah just criminal I tabulated my total cost from movies last year for my budget and it felt like complete rip-off cause o a lot of the times I go just cause Iโm bored and it costs too much money just to kill boredomโฆ
I agree. Also, i just watched this 2018 fanmade clip that someone posted and Omg i slightly regret not finishing Castle. Just this 10 min was better than the first 45 mins of the actual Uncharted movie i saw last night ๐ญ I laughed more than twice on this (unfortunately only twice last night). haha :)
Lame. Fighting, explosions and CGI. How are people not bored of this kind of trash already?
I mean its been around since forever so weโre just used to it
I'll give it a try but I'm keeping my expectations low.
Yea it wasn't great but decent
No, I like him in Spider-Man and I don't think I'd like him in this movie either
Yea its not grreat but its watchable on tv at least
@DizzyDesii You know you just want Tom to web you down and tease you with his little web shooter... lol
I have seen the trailer and it does look worth watching...
Tom may be my age but he looks like a kid. he's adorable in a little brother type way. Antonio Banderas can get it tho with that accent
I will either see it on Netflix or rent the DVD when it comes out.
Dang thats gonna be about 6 months
I'd never heard of it before you mentioned it. But that looks awesome!
I wanted it to be awesome. It was decent
Oh, okay. Cool
No I'm looking forward to the new batman movie with the guy from twi light
Lmao iโll wait til that hits tv
๐๐
im not a fan of tom Holland but i did like the spider-man films he was in but that was mainly because of zendaya.
I like tom but just not as spiderman. I like zendaya but not in those films. she's dull. She was better in Shake It Up and KC Undercover
yeah, those were good tv shows too i liked them.
